I don’t have a cat, but I bought this to help with stains left by my dogs. This product says that it works great on pet vomit and other colored stains when I opened the package. I have tried so many products to get the vomit stains out of the carpet and nothing has worked. To my amazement THIS PRODUCT ACTUALLY WORKED!!!! Not only on a recent stain but also on a stain that has been there for at least 2-3 months!! I am so thrilled that using this along with my Bisselldiscount Deep cleaner and the pet formula will get out these stains. Today I even really put this to the test when my dogs got a hold of a sharpie pen. The black ink was scattered throughout our whole beige carpet. I was horrified! I sprayed this on the ink and could see it coming out immediately. Just sucking up the cleaner with the deep cleaner took the ink right out of the carpet. I ordered this product because we had a new kitty that preferred the love seat over the liter box. I tried another product (non-Bissel) that left a perfume smell and did not discourage the kitten. I used this once following the directions and it not only removed the spot and took out the urine smell it also removed the icky smell from the previous product I tried. The kittens no longer even sniff the spot. It worked so well for what it was meant to be used for that when my husband dripped blood across our light colored carpeting I tried it on that. I used the stream setting and the blood foamed right up and out of the carpet. I was so amazed I had my husband come on watch the next few spots.
