This vaccum is super heavy! I have low carpet and vinyl flooring and it barely picks up the hair from my cats, or small debris. When using the small attachment (roller) it doesn’t attach tightly so it barely spins or gets suction. The only plus about this is I can plug it in an outlet and it reaches my entire apartment (including upstairs).

This vacuum has been used almost daily since purchasing it over 2 years ago. Its primary use is to tidy up the laundry room where the cats traipse kitty litter around the litter box. It picks up everything from within the laundry room (vinyl floor) and outside the laundry room entrance (carpet). Steering it is easy with a tilt of the wrist. It’s slim size and light weight make it an easy choice for small cleanups when the big vacuum is just too big (also a Bisselldiscount). The long cord is a blessing and a curse, but makes the unit reliable and always ready to go.

For a vacuum of this price, I would expect it to last for residential use. We bought it around Christmas last year for a two bedroom apartment, and the spinner attachment does not fit the case surrounding the brush. That means every time we try to use it spins against the plastic for fast that it burns and leaves marks on the carpet. Also you need to unravel the whole cord to use the handheld attachment which is just inconvenient.

I have long hair and 2 cats and would not recommend! I only have carpet on the stairs and yet spend a few hours a month pulling it apart to clean it. If this is how you love spending your weekends then this is your machine. The motor does seem good! I l9ve them at first the motor is strong and sucktion is great but EVERY vac that I have bought (standard or stick) at the bottom where the hose bends between the beaterbrusg and main hose has given out on me ! About every 2 years I have to replace the vac because of this issue (the part that bends and breaks is not repairable and quite expensive to replace) so I believe its time to replace my Bisselldiscounts wirh another more durable brand . 😪

Just bought this yesterday and tried it today. Easy to assemble and the user’s guide was straightforward. Bisselldiscount videos were helpful as well. I was immediately impressed with how quiet it was (relative to my old upright vacuum), how easy it was to operate and how much hair & dirt it picked up. It did a better job than my upright, which is pretty old. It made vacuuming the floors in my house much faster & easier. Time will tell how well it holds up.

I purchased this vacuum a little over a year ago and it worked great for the first several months. The last few months the brush roller head has been giving us issues. We have cleaned this vacuum regularly and disassembled the head to clean out debris, but noticed one side of the roller is beginning to “melt”??!! It has since begun to make an awful noise when using and the roller head on the “melted” side is now breaking apart. I see in other user reviews this is an ongoing issue. If Bisselldiscount would fix this issue, I would rate this product at a 5+ for the suction power, ease of use, and the ability to go under furniture. I love it except the roller brush has defective/faulty mechanics. FIX THE BRUSH!!!

I purchased this vacuum in 2021. Since then the brush head portion has needed to be replaced three times for tearing in the suction tubing. I have always been able to reach out and be sent a replacement. Clearly with that frequent tearing it is a quality issue. However, this time I was told they could not help me and could not even provide a part number. The representative was curt and unhelpful. They have lost me as a customer. Crosswave for sale, as I will no longer support this company if they can’t stand behind a product better than this.

If I could give this vacuum a 0 I would. We got this vacuum and really enjoyed it for the first couple months. It handled our Bernese Mountain Dogs hair with ease.
Then after a few months of having it we noticed the green roller was making a lot of noise. We thought something had been lodged in the roller. Turns out the end of the roller had completely worn down and wasn’t sitting properly in the guide – causing the sound.
Ended up returning it and got a new one pretty quickly. Did the exact same thing in a shorter amount of time. Definitely a manufacturer defect!

I expected that this would come out for quick spot cleaning, pet hair on a rug, or general easy/small messes over using a broom, but I’ve found myself compelled to keep going for a full-house sweep every time I bust it out. I have a bigger, heavier Dyson that can sometimes be a pain to use, and I’ve found myself reaching for the CleanView much more often over the Dyson these days. It’s a slim stick, but it’s great for a full-house sweep, as it’s easy to slide under dressers, countertops, and furniture. This vacuum has incredible suction and can get under couches, beds etc.. HOWEVER, it does not stand up by itself and that can be an issue for some. Where I live, I cannot mount it to a wall, so it would be better if it could stand up in the closet. Also, if you want to use it as a hand held, it’s very heavy and isn’t practical for a small woman trying to vacuum dust off of curtains, the thing tires the arm and weighs more than I do.
However, I still love it, it’s easily transported and I am glad I purchased it.

I have had this sweeper for four years and really liked it. Would have rated five stars before today. While cleaning the exterior, I noticed a cut in the bottom hose. After some time trying to remove the bottom plate to get to the hose, I realized the bottom plate nor the hose could be removed and replaced. In the thrash it goes, along with the five stars. This was my favourite corded vacuum I have ever used personally. I loved the lightweight, versatility with all surfaces and getting around dining room chairs and under the bed etc. But just the other day when I was using it on my short carpet (as I have always done) I started to smell a burning plastic smell and the vacuum was making a loud awful sound. I shut off the vacuum and took off the guard to the roller and discovered it was burnt in two spots… I have tried to look at how to replace this roller head piece but with no success. Wish I could just replace the head piece so I didn’t have to buy a new vacuum again since I do not have the receipt either.
