I found this incredibly easy to set up and use – almost too easy as I was convinced I was missing something until I turned it on and it worked. There is some weight to the entire machine, but each part is easy to take off for cleaning/use. I will say it definitely worked better on upholstery for me – I need to get the chair again because there are some water spots left, but I took before and after with just 5 minutes of scrubbing and no other treatment. I didn’t cover the entire seat, I think that’s why the water spot was left to be honest – user error, not machine issues.
In all, I am impressed by the way it works and it’s effectiveness – I’d just say pre treat stains for better results AND be aware you might need to go a second time.

The Little Green Pet Pro is the best portable carpet cleaner I’ve used. I’ve been using it almost every day since I received it for pet stains and kid stains. We have a gigantic dog and it has been awesome. It has been especially great for carpeted stairs and couches. My dog got sick on the stairs and this was perfect at cleaning up the stains left over. I’ve tried using full sized carpet cleaners on my stairs before and they never worked well. This is small and lightweight to take up and down the stairs with you. Other portable cleaners were not powerful enough for stains but this one is amazing. You can really use it anywhere. I’ve used it on couches and other upholstered furniture, stairs ,car interior, rugs, and regular wall to wall carpet in small areas. It is so easy to take this out when your kids or pets make a mess than trying to use a full size cleaner or cleaning by hand.
The Little Green Pet Pro is very easy to use. The instructions are very simple and straightforward. You have 2 tanks, one for dirty water and one for your clean water. They both lift right out of the cleaner and go right back in. The indicators on the clean tank will tell you how much cleaning formula and water that you need to fill to.
The main attachment I use is the self-cleaning touch stain tool, it has the little brush and sucks up when you clean. This is my favorite tool and the one I use for most stains. There is also a pet hair removal tool block that you can replace the brush with. Another unique tool that’s included is the spraying crevice tool, you spray the water/cleaning formula and it sucks it back up. This makes it easy to clean in crevices that the other tools can’t reach to. The tools are also easy to rinse and clean after use.
I am thrilled with the Little Green Pet Pro and there aren’t really any cons to it in my experience.

I’ve used it to clean up pet stains on carpet, a rug, and on light-colored upholstery. It doesn’t feel like such a chore because of its size and ease of use. It works best on new stains, but does lighten older stains.
The machine is simple to use, with straightforward instructions. What I most appreciate is how easy it is to clean. The dirty tank pops out and rinses out nicely. The best feature is the built in hose cleaner. I’ve owned similar portable cleaners before and never had this feature – and those hoses suffered an unfortunate fate. This is our second Little Green cleaner from Bisselldiscount and we used our first machine HEAVILY so I was optimistic and excited to give this newer model a try.
First impressions: I LOVE the tube wrap feature on this one. Being able to wrap everything and put it away neatly is a game changer. I do wish it also had a spot to hold the extra brush attachment. I also really like the handles on the tanks. It makes filling and emptying the tanks a lot easier, especially when your hands are wet.
Using the machine: It was really simple and easy to fill. It seems like it has good suction when you put your hand in front of the nozzle. The spray feature was pretty terrible. It dribbled out everywhere and didn’t come out in a nice fan like I expected it to.
Results: The machine seems to work very well for recent spills. It worked great cleaning spilled liquids from sippy cups. I also used it on a potty accident my kid has in his bed. It did not initially remove the urine smell, but after I switched the formula to an enzyme cleaner the smell came out just fine. The last item I used it on was a chair in my living room. I have a sphynx cat and she often leaves dark oily residue on light colored furniture. The Little Green did not seem to do much here. I followed behind it with a non-portable cleaner to see if it was just stained and that cleaner pulled the discoloration out just fine.
Overall, the machine isn’t bad depending on what you want to use it for. If you are looking for something for immediate spills and accidents, I think this will work perfectly. If you are looking for something to take out set in stains or furniture deep cleaning, I would look elsewhere.

I used this machine in several places. First, I used it on a small stain our dog had made. It cleaned the rug, but did not remove the stain. I would even say, it seems more pronounced than before – there is probably something off with the chemistry.
I also used this on my stairs. This was my favorite use of the machine. It fits in stairs – amazing – and overall was easy to carry up/down the stairs. After both cleanings, the water was very dark so it clearly works. Just keep in mind this is better for IMMEDIATELY cleaning spills. It is not great for retroactively removing stains. Also remember… if your carpet is stained, old and just dirty, then no amount of cleaning will fix that. This Bisselldiscount will certainly clean your carpet, but it will not always remove stains. If you go into the purchase with proper expectations, you won’t be disappointed!

WOW! I love this little cleaner. It is a serious workhorse and it is so, so easy to clean after you’re done doing your carpet cleaning. I think that’s my favorite part.. what’s the point in buying a cleaning product if you can’t keep it clean, right? It has a backwash feature where you can rinse the brush and the hose with clean water and it all get sucked into the dirty water tank The dirty water tank also has a large lid that is removable and easy to clean with soap and water. This is really important to me because I have used a different cleaner in the past where I could not get into those annoying crevices and never could get it clean.
Okay! Moving onto the part that you’re most interested in right? You wanna know how it cleans! I honestly had low expectations but after reading the manual – time is the most important thing you can do to combat those stains. Making sure you spray then wait for the cleaner fluid to do its work on the stain. Then scrub.. then suck up the dirty water. And repeat as needed. Using the steps in the manual really made my stains go from dirty and gray to bright and vibrant! It was quite something to see. My area rug was looking better it has in years. I also used it on my couch which is a grey and white tweed – which was getting quite dingy from dirty dogs and messy children. I started out on a small area and you could really tell the difference – it was so much brighter looking and no longer dingy. A few days later, I proceeded to do the rest of the couch since it looked so good! I felt like it did a pretty good job cleaning!
Finally, feedback for the company – I really wish this vacuum had a powered scrubber similar to what you see for attachments for a regular vacuum. I feel like this would be a really nice thing for stairs and reduce the amount of scrubbing you need to do.

I was given this portable carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This came at a perfect time as I very much needed something other than a full size upright carpet cleaner to deal with quick spills and muddy paws since I have a messy 4 year old and a dog. The setup of the machine was very simple as the hose was already attached and the cord was neatly wrapped. The attachments are very easy to figure out how to attach and remove them. This machine is so incredibly quiet I was skeptical of how well it’d clean and also allow the carpet to dry quickly after. After cleaning up a spill or other mess, the carpet is lightly damp in a way that is comparable to a baby wipe so it dries very quickly. I’ve included photos of a chocolate stain on my carpet that sat for several days before I got around to cleaning it up. I was able to remove this stain in about 5 minutes with light scrubbing. I’ve used this portable cleaner all over my house since the day it arrived in the mail. I even pulled a ton of water out of my mattress after my child’s cup leaked. My favorite feature is the all in one self cleaning head. I like that all I have to do to flush it with clean water is switch a switch. The capacity of the dirty tank is great too. I doubt I’ll ever have to stop cleaning an area to dump it with the way I use the machine. The only con of this machine is what made me go with 4 stars instead of 5 though. During one of my cleans the machine accidentally got pulled over and within a few seconds the entire dirty tank emptied through the bottom vent of the machine. I immediately unplugged and allowed it to dry and it still works but there needs to be an auto shutoff for if the machine tilts too far or gets knocked over. I’d still choose this machine and recommend it ten times over despite this one issue.

For more serious/existing stains (like what I am dealing with), it seems like it would need to take a few more passes to get any stains to come out. I had been in the market recently for a upholstery and carpet cleaner that wasn’t hard to lug around… so when I received this bissell from the Stellar Product Testing Panel I was ecstatic (perfect timing!!).
The suction power is great… cleaned up my puppies funky messes on my carpeted stairs excellently. I followed the instructions by letting the solution sit for a few minutes and when ready, it sucked the fluid back up. It was rather cool to watch through the clear panel just how much fluid it would gather in certain areas as opposed to others which allowed you to focus your attention better. My stairs looked brand new after my first use with this little mean green stain fighting machine!
The setup was straightforward and easy. Just click everything in place, choose your tips, and you’re good to go! Instructions were easy to understand for the most part, I think I re-read one section twice to make sure I was correct in my setup, but it was straightforward.
For my next adventure with my little machine I tasked it to my sectional and ottoman which my humongous pup vomited all over (sorry, tmi but really goes to show its power and versatility). the texture of the couch is a finer and smaller weave, so I switched the tip away from the one assigned to rougher messes and got to work. I loved that it soaks the solution in at your discretion and then pulls it all back up. The couch and ottoman both smelled and looked dreadful, but with the added bissell cleaning solution applied into the tank in conjunction with it extracting it back into the dirty reservoir, my couch is back to normal!! No lingering smells or stains to be seen.
I loved that it is small enough to cart around anywhere in the house while also being big enough to hold a sufficient amount of water for whatever job you task it. My one qualm with it is having to rewrap the cord. This isn’t a deal breaker for me AT ALL considering how fabulous this little machine is.

The Stellar Product Testing Panel gave me the Bissel Little Pet Pro in exchange for my honest review. After putting this little machine through the paces for a month now, I can honestly say I would gladly have bought it and recomend it to any active family.
For carpet and rug stains: 5 stars. We have 3 kids, 3 cats, and 2 large dogs while our house is mostly carpeted. Our big carpet cleaner struggles with tight spots and its hose attachment just doesnt have that scrubbing power. Enter the Bissel Little Pet Pro. It took me less than 2 minutes to completely remove a dark nasty stain that my big carpet cleaner and any hand scrubbing would barely touch.
Im not kidding, less than 2 minutes and the carpet spot was gone. It was so easy my 6 year old asked to use the Little Pet Pro on another spot. Now I gotta worry about him creating messes on purpose LOL.
For upholstry and vehicles: 3.5 stars. Maybe I need a different formula for tackling the spilled soda and muddy rainwater stains my kids have blessed our minivan with. I spent a good 45 minutes trying to get 2 of the passenger seats clean (all the different attachments helped tremendously) but after all that elbow grease I only saw about a 70% improvement. I will continue to use it for cleaning our vehicles, but I had hoped after so many passes and all the scrubbing to see at least a little more spot lifting.
All the attachments work wonderfully, the machine is easy to move around even with a full tank, and itd a lot quieter than I was expecting but has amazing suction. We live near the gukf coast with high humidity, so drying things takes forever but the Little Pet Pro was able to suck up enough water that everything I used it on dried within a few hours. I think my favorite part about the Little Pet Pro is how easy it is to open the dirty water tank and be able to fully clean it after use.

So the only word is WOW – I have three dogs and white carpet which is not a good combination.
There was an accident on my white carpet and with a few passes with the Little Green Pet Pro I was able to complete remove a urine stain (that I was going to hire professional cleaners for.
This is super easy and intuitive to use and I didn’t really need to use the instructions to get going.
The tank is big enough that I could clean up all of the spots on my carpet that I had been noticing without having to refill anything. Very easy cleanup once done with no mess. I used it on both my white carpet and to remove a spot on a white sofa, and the hose was long enough to do so easily. It is very light and portable and easy to move around to get a bunch of areas clean.

For some background I am a father to two wonderful little girls and a gaggle of fur children! With three cats and a dog running loose, not to mention lunchtime oops by my girls it’s needless to say we have quite a few stains that crop up in our nearly half carpeted home.
The device arrived and was easy to unbox and get started, it came complete with enough cleaning solution and an Oxy booster for tough stains. I set the machine up within minutes and went to tackle a particularly heinous dog vomit mess that needed cleaning in our master bedroom.
I enjoyed the rubber bristle head on the cleaning tube which separated the carpet fibers and allowed the solution to penetrate and the suction to remove waste water effectively. I was shocked at how clean the carpet got in that area alone.

Its portability made it simple to move around the house, and it delivered enough water to effectively clean without leaving the area too wet. I found that I could pretty effectively dry the area by running the vacuum portion over it without spraying the water/cleaning solution. I liked the self cleaning function too, I thought that was a nice feature especially because gunky pet hair can get trapped.
While I didn’t have any particularly tough messes to clean, I was surprised and grossed out by how dirty the water tank became, especially since we maintain a very clean household. This made me see the potential for using this product to maintain nice clean couches rather than only using for tough stains and messes. If I had a car with fabric seats I would be using this thing in the car constantly! The only challenge to using in a car might be the shorter cord. But I appreciated that the cord wasn’t crazy long because it would add to the weight and bulk. It was a good length for the purposes intended.

Dirty Water Bin Lid does not lock in place. it sits on top of the dirty water basin, like a cookie jar or a hat on a person. there is no way to keep the top “locked” or “snapped” into place.
So, if this unit was to tip, the dirty water would spill onto the floor. This is a nig design flaw. I did call for tech support, but she said there is no way to lock down the top. Returning this unit immediately. ordering a different model .
