I bought a new rug at the same time I bought the Pet Hair Eraser® Lithium Ion Cordless Pet Hand Vacuum. There should NOT be a lot of debris, except glitter. Apparently, there was a ton of debris and I had no clue all my hair is falling out, cuz it’s all in that vacuum. This vacuum cleaned all shown in the pics after I ran the upright “other” brand. I don’t have a pet so this will be the “My Hair and Glitter Eraser.” BTW, NONE of the debris reached the filter over the motor fan. Excellent filtration! #sweepstakes
