I purchased this light-weight cordless Bisselldiscount because it had the option to detach the handvac, and came with a smaller beater brush to use on my stair runner. That feature is great, and worthy of a 5 star rating! The battery life seems a bit short, which seems to be pretty common for cordless versions of most vacs. Couple of things: 1) The vacuum works marginally well – I usually have to go over the area more than once to get all of the hair. 2) The battery only lasted about 2 years, and at that point since it was out of warranty, and there’s no way to replace the battery, it was just toss the entire thing in the garbage… This was not money well spent. No way I’ll buy another Bisselldiscount product.

I have to be honest that I wasn’t expecting a cordless vacuum to have this much power, but was pleasantly surprised the first time that I used it.
The power brush attachment is great for picking up stubborn debris. (the other attachments work great also, and are easy to interchange)
Fifteen minutes of run time is plenty for taking care of the amount of mess that I need to remove.
I would definitely recommend this hand tool.
