We have one dog, a Dobie. We have some carpet but mostly hardwood floors. The headlight just shows you what the vacuum is not picking up! The ‘brushes’ don’t touch the floor to gather up dirt/debris, it just gets scattered around! This is by far, the worst vacuum I have ever purchased! The entire thing needs to be redesigned to lower the brush head so that it will work. And get rid of the light–especially if the vacuum isn’t going to pick up the dirt and pet hair-no one wants to see what it leaves behind.

The vacuum works ok on carpets. It’s a pain with my smaller area rugs. It doesn’t pick up well on my hardwood floors and even though the suction seems ok, it’s like I have to be right on top of something for the vacuum to grab it. I have two cats and a dog. Works well picking up pet hair but does not pick up kitty litter well at all. I feel like this vacuum is heavy and bulky.

I bought this to replace my Bissel pet vacuum after it broke after17 years. The suction on this is much greater, which I love. The cord is a little longer. It is very heavy duty. It takes a bit more muscle to maneuver around furniture. The light on the head is a big plus. It works on both floors and carpets. Most of my house is just marble tile with an occasional area rug. It works very well on both. I am 75 years old and it takes more energy to use for me. It doesn’t fit under some of my furniture as my old vacuum. The grip often hurts my hand. Maybe I am holding it wrong since I have only use this once since my purchase. It has a very easy to empty canister which I like. I like the removable hand held vac for baseboards and corners, Even though it has a few faults for me, I would still buy this again.

This is a great vacuum. I have 4 dogs. All with different hair types and this vacuum picks up all the hair.
The only thing I would change is adding an auto cord rewind. (My other vac had it and I miss it.) I would also like a brush attachment. Other than that. Love it.

I just got my vacuum on Friday and I just used it today. The assembly was really easy and simply. I cleaned our wooden floors and got excited because the vacuum picked up the litter. I bought this vacuum on April 22, 2024. It died in mid November of 2024. The brush roll “seized up” and stopped spinning when vacuuming a low rug (with lights flashing on the base). Wait for awhile, try again and it works for a minute until it seizes up again. Disappointed.

Because small pieces of debris get caught between the rollar and the top plastic cover that I can’t remove. Cons: In the specifications it claims the hose is 8 feet long. This was going to be excellent for cleaning cat hair off my couch. The hose is NOT 8 feet long. It is only at best 3 feet usefulness before the vacuum tips over.

Okay, if you’re a loser like me and you get excited about cleaning products, prepare to be giddy. I was a little concerned after reading the 1 star reviews and granted I just got this vacuum so hopefully it is made to last; but here is my honest opinion…although it’s ok the pricey-ish side, you get what you pay for. I have two fluffy Pomeranians and one cat who is a shed machine. I also have different types of area rugs in each room. One washable rug that you cannot use a brush roll on, a couple of medium rugs and a couple of shag rugs. This vacuum has multiple settings for all of my needs, including bare floor. Before I tossed my old vacuum, I used it to go over all of my carpets and then I used this one right afterward. The amount of dirt and fur that this vacuum pulled up was. a)concerning as I probably should have upgraded years ago and b) incredibly impressive. The long wand makes cleaning corners and crevices a breeze- but the absolute GAME CHANGER are the lights at the base of the vacuum as well as on the crevice tool. If you think your bare floors are clean, I double dog dare you to light it up with this machine. I was SHOOK at how dirty my hardwood floors were, especially because I use my cordless stick vacuum on them every other day. I couldn’t believe how much fur and cat litter there was on my floors. As someone who cleans constantly, I was pretty grossed out. The bare floor setting works incredibly well. I truly hope that this machine stands the test of time because so far, I love it.
Note* when I first received the vacuum, the crevice tool light didn’t work. I contacted BISSELL and they sent me a new one right away. Great customer service!

I have a St Bernard that sheds like crazy. We need to vaccum every other day. The idea of this vacuum avoiding hair wrap is a joke. I vacuumed twice after getting it and had to take the bottom apart to clean out the dog hair. I debated returning it but decided to use it in less traveled dog areas. If yoy want a vacuum that is good for heavy shedding dogs, this is NOT it. Also doesn’t pick up on hardwood well at all.

The 2 in 1 tool is useless unless you’re vacume straight up. It can not fit under the couch, and when it does fit under anything the wand can only be used in a sideways direction. Which doesn’t pick up well at all. It does work great as a vacume cleaner and the rolling brush doesn’t clog. But if you’re pets hair goes anywhere but on the rug I’d suggest a different machine. Don’t understand why this brand can’t make a swivell brush attachment.
