I wish the brush roll cover was easier to remove than getting tools out and removing 10 screws every time. The brush cover is constantly clogged with dog hair – I have to take the cover off every 4-5 uses to declog it. Overall I like the vacuum, great suction especially for carpets (passable for bare floors). Biggest gripe is the suction controller slides too easily and often adjusts itself to a lesser suction. Also, the hose constantly unhooks from the wand when using the brush and crevice tool. Very irritating. I still would reommend particularly for carpet vacuuming.

It has great suction to remove any hidden dust and fur. It’s a very heavy unit to push/pull for regular cleaning. The hose is HORRIBLE. It doesn’t stretch more than a few inches then the unit falls over. The turbo attachment is fantastic for cushions and small areas.

I purchased this model after the spare parts for my favorite Dyson vacuum parts were no longer available, so with two small dogs, I thought this would be a good option. Worked fine did its job, but not even a year has gone by and the dirt tank lock broke, and I found out the hard way. Dust everywhere, luckily I had my shop vac.
I see the spare part but I am not buying it. Going to use my shop vac instead. They don’t make vacuums like they use to.

This vacuum had great reviews for pet hair, so I veered away from Oreck which I had previously used. It worked well initially but quickly began to fizzle. I would empty the canister every time I used it thinking it would help, but it did not. Suction was not great, and dog hair and crumbs were left even after going over a spot multiple times. Then just last week after having it only one year, it blew up. Burning smell and started shooting bits of debris out everywhere. When I turned off the brush, it was apparent the motor was not running at all. Now it won’t even turn on, and I’m stuck having to buy a new vacuum. Again.

I have had this vaccum fir about 8 mos. I forgot about the attachments for pet hair. I just used the turbo brush, reg brush and crevice tool on a chair I’ve had for six years. I was looking for a lightweight vacuum that could also conquer the constant shedding from our GSD mix and cat. This does the trick! Easy to assemble and I love that I can go from carpet to floors with a touch of a button. On my old vacuum, I had to lock it upright and turn a knob. So much easier! I like that it swivels and has several tools to use. I will still give it 5 stars, but my one “issue” is using the tools to get in crevices can be challenging as the hose doesn’t have a lot of “give”. But I have a handheld Shark that can do that job.

I bought this vacuum in December specifically because I have 3 shedding dogs and vacuum on a daily basis. It worked great for the first 5 months, but now going on 6 months of use it is totally crapping out on me. The spinner brush stopped working, a small wheel popped off, and it won’t pull pet hair out of the rug anymore. I’m extremely disappointed in my purchase since I chose not to go with a cheaper model. Definitely thought it would last longer. The vacuum repair guy told me it’s typical for Bisselldiscount to crap out after 6 months so buyer beware!

I have a 2-story home; a combination of hard floors, area rugs, and wall-to-wall carpet; and 2 cats. So I wanted a lightweight vacuum with a great brush roller and powerful suction. This Bisselldiscount does the job. It’s about 14 pounds compared to my 25-pound Miele Twist. As far as pet hair removal, it’s better than the way more expensive Miele. It does have headlights (if that’s the right term). And I love it that the crevice tool has a light – never thought about that before, but it’s fantastic. The pet hair attachment has an automatic brush roller that picks up fur nicely from my sofa. And I can carry and maneuver it much more easily. All in all, a really great purchase.
