I was so excited to get this but unfortunately I will be returning this and going back to Hoover as the suction just isn’t matching up even to my ten year old vacuum. The price is so high I was expecting great quality from a great brand but unfortunately it just doesn’t measure up. With my prior upright vacuum, I had to spend 15-20 minutes picking out fur from the brush. I have 2 long hair cats and 1 medium hair. The turbo rewind brush is a joy. The vac is heavier than I anticipated, but that’s probably due to the quality. When I carry it upstairs, I 1st remove the dirt cup and hold the handle in one hand and the bottom in the other. It makes a big difference. I haven’t yet used the additional tools because I’m having so much fun using it on my floors, carpet, tile, and hardwood. It also picks up cat litter from a tiled floor better than my previous vac and it doesn’t then fall back on the floor. Oh, and the suction is a lot stronger than my previous vac.

I had a clog and had to remove the brush cover. Shouldn’t be a big deal, manufactures know that this is a common occurrence. Why would there be NINE screws to unclog the vacuum. I just pray I dont get another clog because that is a hassle to do.

I have 4 dogs and only one room with a rug that has to be vacuumed. 1) The button to adjust the roller head assembly up and down is located on the handle. I find I have moved it accidently. 2) The retractable cord is great, but very short. Hard to cover an entire room without moving the plug. 3) The suction tool is easier to hook up, but you almost have to get on your hands and knees to clean baseboards. If you use the wand/handle assembly, you lose suction. I’m going to look for a canister vacuum next time

This is the best vacuum cleaner we’ve ever had. Pulling 1/2 the current my old vacuum did (7.5 vs 15amps), it has far better suction and the roller brush really does seem not to get clogged with hair. In roughly 2 weeks it has rejuvenated our carpet downstairs. At first I was worried at it not having a height adjustment but the vacuum bleed seems to do the trick. The dirt disposal design is awesome. It’s a great machine. I hope it holds up for several years.

This is my second Pet Hair Eraser vacuum. I’ve had my first one for several years. It’s been through several moves and has been well loved. My current home is two-story and I thought it’d be easier to have one on each level rather than schlep one up and down. The reason I took one star off is because I don’t actually like the attachments it comes with; I don’t find them useful. Aside from that, the Pet Eraser vacuum is by far, the best I’ve ever owned. The suctioning power is superb. As long as the filter is cleaned, or changed when needed to be, the suction power remains on point. These filters can be easily purchased on the company’s website for reasonable prices. I love the cord rewind, as it makes my life simpler. The wand is easy to take off and put back on, and is one of the most useful features for me in my home. I hope they continue making this vacuum, so that I can continue to recommend it to every one I know.

Conquers pet hair? Not quite. After a year of use, pet hair collected in the end of the beater roller. The thin plastic part of the beater that holds the beater in place melted from the friction (see picture). There is no apparent way to service this area before failure. Took a picture but it won’t upload. Also, hair builds up in vacuum head on tile floor unless I run the beater to clear it.

We love this vacuum! We’ve tried a few different pet friendly vacuums over the past 25 years and when it came time to select a new one, we did more research and looked into different mfgs. The hose is slightly hard to get off. The attachments once used are hard to get off the hose as well. VERY loud. It boast hair not getting wrapped around the brush but the first time I used it (on a very small area) it had some wrapped around the brush. That being said the area I vacuumed did look clean. I was so bummed when my previous Pet Eraser Turbo died on me. I ordered a new and the updates compared to my old one make it even better! It’s a little lighter, the tools are easily stored and the crevice tool is now lighted and works even better! The only thing I miss is the extension whisks that seemed to hug to sides better. But, for the less weight I prefer this update, the crevice tool can hug those sections. I love the vacuum and I love helping contribute to the Bisselldiscount Pet Foundation!

Bissel makes a big deal out of all the accessories and ease of use, but they are so hard to use because of the short hose. You can’t use crevice or pet nozzle more than 1 foot away without the vacuum falling over. It is really a 2 person job, 1 to vac and 1 to hold vac in place. What is needed is an extension hose so you can go farther from vac. It is so annoying when trying to clean and having the vac fall over or keep banging into you.
Also, mine keeps spitting out clumps of cat fur. Somehow fur gets caught in an area that it can’t be sucked up, then spits it out when it gets too much.

There’s a couple of problems… the house at the back of the base isn’t detachable so it’s a pain to clear a blockage there and the dump canister has a ledge inside that traps things at the top where new stuff is trying to come in. Don’t recommend for household where there is long human hair because it gets wrapped around the brush and jams up the canister. Otherwise, it’s a great vacuum

Have had this vaccum since Christmas 2023. In that time, we have replaced the rubber band on the roller a few times which is normal as we have pets. That means lots of pet hair that collects down there and has to be cleaned out.
Something that really bummed me out was that we had to replace the roller and bottom plate. The roller failed and starting burning through the plastic on one side of the bottom plate.
I got new parts from Bisselldiscount and the vaccum works great again. Just lame that a good priced vacccum had those parts fail in less than a year.

I use this product to vacuum a very “fluffy” house due to my 2 Maine Coon cats. They shed nonstop plus I have 3 litter boxes and as much as I try to get litter that they don’t “drag” everywhere I buy what I can afford.
I am in my 70’s and this vacuum is a bit on the heavy side. Of course I’ve had to take it apart to clean it. For me, there are just too many parts to have to contend with every other week.

The vacuum works great. I went a little nicer than I normally would and have no regrets. I have dogs and long hair myself it really gets it up. I was surprised how much it picked up first since I had just vacuumed but there was a reason I was replacing my old one. The only kind of down side is that it isn’t completely tangle free. Some (much less then with others) of my hair does get stuck around the roller. However, the design doesn’t let it twist around multiple times so it’s much faster and easier to get off then on any other model of vacuum I have ever used.
