I was hopeful reading the product description that this would work as well or better than the Oxiclean Carpet & Rug spray that I normally use to prep, usually before hitting a spot with my Bisselldiscount portable cleaner. Unfortunately it is nowhere near as good, and hardly better than using water or any standard cleaner that doesn’t claim to remove stains. Thankfully I’m through the last bottle I bought and can go back to what works, but I wish I hadn’t wasted money on it in the first place.

Had a lingering small of cat pee in a room that was resistant to multiple carpet cleaning attempts over the years. I bought a 365nm blacklight, found an array of small fluorescing stains (generally 1 cm or less in max diameter), a couple larger faint areas. I blasted all of them with the cleaner and next day the urine stink was gone. There was a faint smell in it’s place (will call it an enzyme smell hard to describe, but an organic small) in it’s place. This smell was nothing compared to the cat urine it replaced, and it too has faded also over the past couple weeks. So yeah, this skeptic is fully impressed and happy didn’t have to rip up the old rug just yet.

Love ALL the Bissel products! This one is fantastic as it not only removes the stain but every bit of odor. I assume that is the enzyme part of it. I have a 9 year old Shihchon, and a 3 month old Shin Tsu. In our very cold climate training to wee pads is as necessary as training outside. With the puppy, accidents running off the pad can happen. This makes cleanup easy. Also works for urpy stomach on the big boy. Won’t be without it!
