I don’t think it does as good of a job as my old chordless Bisselldiscount Bolt but it’s getting to the point where I can’t find parts for it anymore, so I went with this chordless Pet-vac. As long as I can still get filters for the old Bolt, then I can use that one as a hand-held in my car. Meanwhile, this new one does well enough.

I have owned two of these vacuums. About 15 months after purchase the vacuum will only run for a few seconds after pressing the on/off button on the handle. It starts up then after ~3 seconds we get a red battery light and it shuts off. If I use it as a hand held vacuum it runs normally so it is not a battery issue. Very convenient that this happens so soon after the warranty expires. Hey Bessel I think you folks have a reliability issue in that on/off switch. If it was accessible I’d fix it but I tried with the first one and to get to the switch you have to destroy the handle. Would NOT recommend this product.

Love my new vac. It is nice to just pop off the handheld when I need it for little pickups. There is good suction so picks up everything nicely. Easy to pop off top and clean/empty. This is my new defense against stink bugs! 🙂 Nice, simple, easy to use. Great purchase. The only thing (not sure if it could be done) for a suggestion is to put the plug up higher on the back of the vac.

I loved it when I first got it. Easy, compact, and picked up my cats litter and kibble, and worked so well on my jute decor area rug. However out of nowhere this morning (I’ve only had it since the end of august- it’s mid November) it stopped working. I noticed a burning plastic smell, and then the rotating part complexly stopped. I took it apart to clean it, and went to turn it on, it puttered for a few seconds then turned off. It won’t stay on for more than a few seconds and has a red light that won’t go away. What a waste of money. Shame because I really did love it for my small condo.
