BISSELL® SpinWave® wet and dry robotic vacuum provides two ways to clean in a single revolutionary robot. The two tank system actively mops or powerfully vacuums with smart, structured cleaning paths.

Clean up debris
Use this machine in dry vacuuming mode to collect pet hair, dirt and other debris from carpet, area rugs and hard floors.

Mop hard floors
When used in wet mopping mode, the rotating mop pads and BISSELL cleaning solution work together to scrub floors clean. The Soft Surface Avoidance Sensor helps the machine avoid area rugs and carpet while in wet mopping mode.

I bought two of these robotic vacuums – both have the same problem, worked amazing for a few months, now they empty the water tank in 15 minutes, leaving water all over my hardwood floors.

I have used this a couple weeks now & was hoping it would perform better with each use. NOT when in dry mode it leaves clumps of pet hair & dirt in piles throughout the house. Even when it’s not full.
Angie Verified Buyer –
So this just doesn’t work. I got this to help me clean in between weekly vaccuma because I have a cat. It doesn’t pick up litter, cat hair, cat food. Nothing. I can use this again and again and I will never have to empty it because nothing but dust get picked up. I’ll often sweep after using this because it pretty much just pushes the debris around my living room. The mop function works fine. You can’t really go wrong dragging a wet sponge across the floor. But for over 100 dollars just to make lines in my carpet… completely not worth it.
Fred Verified Buyer –
This thing is an absolute piece of junk, right from day one it just kept giving errors and after 1 week of use starting saying that cleaning solution was low when mopping even when the tank was full and was never able to use the mopping mode again

I left a review earlier today about the Spinwave being terrible at navigating. I took another look at the instructions and noticed that two foam spacers have to be removed from behind the front bumper before use. Once they were removed the navigation improved, although it seems to be going over the same area rather than finding new areas to clean. You are welcome to delete the review. I’ll write a new one with a few weeks more of using it. However, I’d recommend that you make the foam spacers a bright colour to make it more obvious that they need to be removed. The white ones blend in with the rest of the unit and are almost invisible. Thanks

I really loved it at first and raved about it, but soon it kept erring out and the app would tell me it wasn’t connected or it couldn’t find it. Now it’s in my bedroom vacuuming and it has erred out 6 times and nothing seem wrong with it (no obstructions, the bin isn’t full) so I am just going to vacuum by hand.

In terms of cleaning capabilities, the Spinwave does a good job in wet and dry modes. However, as other reviews noted, the navigation needs a major upgrade. Often, when I send it to the dock at the end of cleaning, it takes over half an hour to get there – it is 6ft directly across the hall from the dock, but ends up doing a full circuit around the perimeter of the rooms. Also, sometimes it will run into permanent objects at full speed – the sensor does not pick up the item at all, even though it avoided them on previous runs.
Some other features that could use improvement include options managed for the errors/warnings messages. Instead of beeping repeatedly until addressed on the unit itself, it would be great to be able to acknowledge the issue in the app and stop the unit running. I won’t run the unit while I am out in case there’s an error because the beeping is quite loud and goes on for a while before stopping, and it might disturb people in attached units. Also a ratio of solution to water for mopping instead of the lines for a full tank only would be useful. I don’t always need a full tank, and end up wasting product as I have to dump the leftovers since the water would be cold the next time. It’s also very difficult to empty the tank.
Lastly, Bisselldiscount is very big on pets, but I’ve found the unit doesn’t exactly handle fur that well. Have a small shorter haired dog, with minimal shedding. The vacuum picks up the fur well, but it builds up just outside the opening of the dirt bin, instead of actually going into the bin itself, no matter how much I clean the brush roll and space around it.
Again, the actual mopping function is great, and the vacuum works fairly well, expecting the pet fur. If there were improvement to how the unit runs and navigates, it would be an amazing product.

I like this product. Has helped immensely.
You need to know that it is not compatible with boundary strips – rolls right over them. I’d love to be able to contain it in my open plan house more easily, but still happy with it overall!

I bought the SpinWave because it was the only robot mop with spinning pads. Cool innovation, obviously more effective than a push-pad type mopper. However, it turns out that the navigational intelligence of this product is shockingly bad. It constantly bumps into all kinds of things and gets stuck. It doesn’t seem to realize that it is not moving, the wheels just keep spinning while it’s stuck and it makes no attempt to extract itself. It clearly doesn’t have a motion sensor, so it has no idea whether it’s actually moving, regardless whether the wheels are spinning. So you constantly need to rescue it from the silliest and most basic navigational problems. Just to be clear, the unit is not actually stuck, it’s just too stupid to navigate itself AROUND THINGS THAT ARE IN ITS WAY. Its vision, navigation, and problem solving abilities are inferior to my 15 year old Roomba. I’m really surprised that Bisselldiscount released such an imbecilic product. With the spinning pads it has a lot of potential, but Bisselldiscount clearly did not invest in making this a smart product.

I purchased the Bisselldiscount cordless floor cleaner and it ran into a problem I emailed customer service with my problem. Michelle at their customer service was so nice and very responsive. I followed their directions and sent all the information and a video of what it’s doing. I just received a brand new one sent to me. They replaced it. This is a very good product and it really makes my floors look super nice. I will always own a Bisselldiscount product as I always have in the past.

I barely use this this because all it does is malfunction, disconnect, and gets clogged easily. I wish I could return this

We have 4 German Shepherds. Their tails are lethal weapons and apart from shedding 24*7, they spread the dust in the house.. I’m running the Spinwave every night in the kitchen, dining room and living room. I was underwhelmed at first to see what little (?) was collected in the bin. And then I realized how much less dust settles on the furniture these days. Same for the floors itself. First impression was so-so until R5D2 skipped a day. It really makes a difference in my house.
As for mopping, I’m not sure what to think. It wets the floor and wipes it, but I’m used to dumping a bucket of dirty water after I mop and that’s not happening here.
R5D2 seems to have a strange routine at times going back and forth between areas (and obsessed with legs of tables and chairs). Since I’m not paying him by the hour, it’s not a big deal to me.
With that, it’s a keeper.

I just got this robot, it gets stuck on the same place over and over again, the app doesn’t show a map of the rooms where it has been, when going back to the charger it has to go all the places that has been before so it finds it’s way to the station, during that time the battery ends up dying before reaching it

It never works very well, remove dullness in navigation. and if you wonder why it only has one 1 warranty is because after that everything starts to fail!!!
Don’t waste your money

I have used this product for a few years. This is my 4th robot vacuum. However, the three others stopped working and BISSELL did replace them. When it works, it’s great!

I have owned (and continue to use) multiple robovacs. None of them have truly failed (and I have replaced multiple batteries at end of life). So, suffice to say I have a fair amount of experience with robot vacuums. The Bisselldiscount works well, in both vacuum and mopping modes. It’s not particularly sophisticated (no mapping, etc.), but does what it needs to do. The app is fine in the information provided – I like the maintenance monitor and mileage tracker (42 miles as I write this). Two things/improvements I’d like to see: 1. a tool to effectively remove dust/pet hair from roller (no robovac provides an effective tool), 2. improvements to the emptying mechanism for the solution receptacle (it’s difficult to get all liquid out of it when you’re done cleaning).

I bought the vaccum for Christmas, once I got it set up I noticed the app doesn’t notify you if something happens with the bissell. For example last night the vaccum stopped and started to beep and I wasn’t sure why and the app didnt send me anything saying something was wrong.
The vaccum does clean well I still need to try the mop side 🙂

Not smart enough to get out of corners. If I wasn’t there there would be a puddle of water in that corner too. The learning software need to address this issue better
Also doesn’t seem to do the whole kitchen around island. Just goes up and down same isle.

This is literally the worst Robot vacuum/mop that I have ever seen, used or purchased. It is constantly getting errors when you try to mop. It says that it’s out of fluid even when it’s full and is actually dispensing fluid. And once you have an error, you can’t use the app to tell it to return to the base. It just sits there and beeps.
The fluid control in the app also makes no difference. You can try to set it to “low” but it still just dumps large amounts of fluid out. And yes, this is even using Bisselldiscounts own branded cleaner that’s supposed to be specifically for the machine. The app needs to be updated with a bypass mode so it can be told to mop even when it thinks the tank is empty.
I even tried to cover the dispensing hoses on the bottom of the machine to leave smaller holes, hoping less fluid would come out, but it doesn’t make a difference when the machine won’t run because it thinks it’s empty anyways.
I had high hopes for this machine but my no-name robot vacuum/mop is 10x better for less than half the price.

So far, pretty happy with this. Compared to my other bot vac, this is much quieter, better vac power and larger dust bin. In a multi-pet household, the performance and dust bin size are a plus. I noticed others have commented about the navigation, but I have not seen any issues with that. Battery life and homing work well also.

SpinWave® Wet and Dry Robotic Vacuum Exclusive Bundle Review
They don’t test their own products, anyone with a disability is going to hate this. It has an app but doesn’t allow you to stop the device, meaning if it gets stuck you will have to manually pick it up. There is no way to stop the beeping, meaning it will just beep until the battery runs out which can take hours. This wouldn’t be an issue with other robots but it gest stuck on everything. A simple software update could disable the beeping but it would still get stuck on everything. They have already released a new version so don’t expect many updates for this one.

The unit’s navigation is terrible. It gets “stuck” in the middle of clear floor, turning in circles until it stops and beeps, flashing red. The mop function is awful. The liquid doesn’t come out of the tank onto the mop heads, and so I downloaded the app to be able to set the function. Well, the app is a load of horse manure too. It won’t read the QR code, and when I try to manually enter the information, the fields are limited to a certain number of characters WHICH IS FEWER THAN NEEDED FOR THE SSID AND THE PASSWORD FFS.
Garbage. Waste of my money. I’ll not buy Bisselldiscount again.

The robot Has Bad sensor I returned it 1 week after purchase.
it’s NEVER see the BLACK things my table is black color every times its stuck there .

Does a fair job of wet mopping but since it doesn’t vacuum up the water, you are essentially cleaning with the dirty pads and water and the dirt is left on the floor. Feel it was basically a waste of money.

I got this on sale and for the price I paid (I think around $250) it is a great product. I’ve only had it around 3 weeks now so I can’t speak to its long term functionality but so far it has done a great job of picking up dust and hair from our floor. The compartment is always full when it’s finished and it’s easy to clean out. Our floors also always look cleaner after using the mop function. Only thing is it is not mappable so it does sometimes get stuck on furniture, but our place is relatively small so it definitely gets the job done. #sweepstakes

Worked well for about 2 weeks. Then I’d come home to find it had stopped after a few minutes. It started thinking there were walls in the middle if the room, would turn around and go the other way for no reason. Then it jam up and say the bumper was stuck. Before I knew it, it couldn’t detect obstacles anymore.
Finally committed suicide by jumping down the stairs. Unfortunately it chipped the stairs doing it.

I don’t know why I didn’t get one of these any sooner. It is a complete and utter life changer. I never do reviews, but I really felt the need to make a review on this item. The only issue is sometimes it beeps when I get stuck, or if it picks up some thing that’s too big for it it will beep that’s the only part that gets a little annoying but it’s expected.

Number one. The app doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to number two. I had to sign into my account five times a month. Number three that’s dumb It’ll clean the same spot 15 times but not the surrounding areas. I’m done with this product. I’m about to send, send it to the fire pit and burn it
Sami Verified Buyer –
In wet dry mode, it does not pick up much of the dust.
After about a year of use, it can no longer mop, but instead just dumps all of the fluid on the floor and then stops and beeps multiple times.
A great concept, but should not have been marketed until the technical issues were resolved.
Liz Verified Buyer –
I bought this a few days ago and the app doesn’t have a mapping feature. It’s bad because when I want to mop my kitchen area, it mops the whole house just to get to my kitchen. It also vacuums one spot about 10 times for no reason. Then theres the docking issue. It takes forever to dock . The dock could be right beside it and it would go around the whole house before docking . It needs a major app update . There needs to be a mapping tool so we can choose where we want to vacuum. Would be returning it if it continues like this for the next three days .

This thing easily picks up fur, tracked litter, and easily cleans up vomit.
I don’t know how we lived without it before!

I have a small dog and could not keep up with her shedding with a traditional vacuum. The SpinWave robotic vacuum is programmed to vacuum every morning and I use it to mop weekly. It works wonderfully!

Works very well for both vacuuming and mopping, easy to switch. Simple to use. Better for maintenance use than cleaning really dirty floor.

The quality of this robot is great and it has so much potential. However, the navigation is absolutely horrible. So bad that it’s not even worth using as a mop bc it is all over the place. It mops the same spot multiple times, doesn’t remember where it didn’t go, and goes in weird directions which burns up the battery.
