I also love the hair removal tool that it comes with, it makes it easy to remove dog fur that sometimes catches in the suction portion of the cleaner. Pro: Lightweight and it cleaned my carpet. Cons: it leaks horribly. Move it from carpet to kitchen and you will definitely need a mop. Even sitting still it leaks a great amount of what appears to be both clean and dirty water. The plastic is much cheaper than my older bissell. Pet hair goes under the plastic non-removable cover under the nozzle and is impossible to clean out. The clean out tool is completely useless. My older Bisselldiscount was able to be easily taken apart and cleaned. I hope it lasts long enough for me to find a better brand.

I have the same complaint as most owners. I would like to say it sucks, but it doesn’t. It pulled the water out of the carpet fairly well when new. Now it seems to leave more water in the carpet than it pulls out. We have cleaned it thoroughly but it barely improves. We also have the leakage problem. On the backstroke it often drips water / cleaning solution leaving ugly dark spots. We have pulled out our old Hoover to suck water. Bisselldiscount cleans better, Hoover sucks better.

I finally got rid of my old carpet cleaner for this new one! I read a lot of reviews before purchasing and also have a dog and 3 children. I LOVE this carpet cleaner!! It works so fast and well. The photo on the top was my carpet prior (dont judge me) and the photo on the bottom is after 1 PASS. It took me less than 20 minutes to do that whole section. The suction is powerful! The only downside Ive discovered is that it still does get clogged with dog hair often, but the brush cleaning tool they provided cleans it thoroughly.

I don’t understand how everyone else has such positive things to say about this product. Yes, it has removed every single mess my (unbelievably messy) dog has made on my rug and carpet. But that one pro doesn’t come close to outweighing the seemingly endless cons: 1) no matter how carefully I try to roll it from room to room, a trail of liquid (dirty? clean? I have no idea) follows. So then I have to clean the hardwood floors as a result of cleaning the carpet 2) the dirty water tank spills a puddle worth of dirty liquid if I don’t immediately position it horizontally after taking it out 3) unless you have a pet that sheds VERY minimally, this carpet cleaner isn’t for you. Piles of dirty, wet hair build up in the brushes and nozzle. While I get this can’t necessarily be avoided for pets that are heavy shedders, this product was (based off the name) made with pets in mind. So why wasn’t it built to allow the brushes to be removed and cleaned without having to use a screwdriver each time? I instead have to clean out the brushes and area it’s in by rolling the brushes around and removing all the dirty hair globs by hand, which isn’t easy. And is unnecessarily gross 4) the nozzle lid apparently has to be snapped back on using a very specific method, because it takes me multiple tries every single time 5) I wouldn’t mind the bulkiness of this product if it were in any way easy to deconstruct. Trying to unsnap the handle from the main part is in NO way as easy as the video makes it look 6) it would have been nice if the money used towards producing a pointless separate carry handle and providing the needed screws was instead used towards providing a physical user manual that’s actually helpful. I don’t enjoy having to search for the applicable video on Bisselldiscount’s website each time I have a question about using this carpet cleaner (which is often). Especially when only about 15 seconds of the 3 minute video is spent towards answering my question

Wife Bought it a couple months ago after we purchased a new house. Its been used on small areas.. haven’t done my whole house yet. And realized the brushes weren’t rotating. Following the Bissle website i open it up and found a broken belt. Which is great. But where tf do i purchase a replacement part. Why is it broken already. Tbh i didn’t know she was purchasing this product. I tend to stay away from their products with a pet stamp on it. They add narrow passages that ib feel are designed to catch hair and break sooner. The belt everywhere else looks brand new. Cause it is.

works as expected… it’s a little heavy but not too bad. I laid it down, left it to dry for a week as soon as i picked it up in upright position there’s still water dripping. Make sure you measure the formula right!! I put in too much and my carpet is foamy(my fault). The carpet completely dried in a day. Everyone was right about the “dirty water tank” that it gets full quickly so you have to make multiple trips to the sink to dump it out. Overall, I’m happy with it

This cleaner is easy to use and appears to remove a lot of dirt from the carpet. However, when used on a light colored carpet it leaves streaking and spots. When I cleaned it in a tub I noticed a dirty water exiting the suction fan vent on the bottom of the main housing. Evidently the baffling in the suction tank does not prevent dirty water/solution from entering the fan duct. Fix this and the its a 5 star product.

After my ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner stopped working after 6 years, I purchased this model. It works just as well, the biggest differences are the attachments, and the PetPro is easier to clean the brushes (you can take off the top to take them out). Aside from this, it gets the job done and cleans up messes left behind by my dogs and kids. You definitely get what you paid for, the quality of Bisselldiscount’s products is great. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with kids and pets.
