I was given this TurboClean™ Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner to try as part of the Stellar product testing panel. I was so excited to have a deep carpet cleaning for the first time, and this cleaner lived up to the hype I made in my head! I didn’t even realize how filthy our carpets were, but after a one hour cleaning, my feet could feel the difference! It was quick and easy to use, and one entire room took a little more than one hour, including getting the couches and pillows and 16 foot rug.
The design of the cleaner is much like other machines, but it gives you the option to use a handheld cleaner for things like pillows and our couch backing (where a ton of spills happen) and also the push feature to get larger pieces like rugs and carpet. I really enjoyed using both features, as not all machines have both. It really felt like everything got cleaned, even the heavy duty wine spills that my husband said he cleaned up but still missed. I’ll forgive him this time because he let me watch while he did the cleaning. We also got up all the boot tracking that happens during the winter, the disgusting salt, and a ton of puppy pee that soaked in. It really got it all, and the cleaner made the room smell fresh.
It moves just as easily as any vacuum would and stores away easily, which is really awesome because my house is small with only has one closet. Overall, I’m so happy we got this and used it immediately. We’re going to do our whole upstairs now that we know it’s extremely easy to use and doesn’t take long to set up.

I received this carpet cleaner from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I really enjoy using this product. So far I’ve used it on spot cleaning with the hose attachment and it works well! When applying the soapy water, it has a wide width it covers. To close spraying the spot it doesn’t cover much, and to far it sprays on to much, such as a kitchen table chair it sprays on the ground. Still working on perfecting that. I wish the wand attachment was a bit wider so you wouldn’t have to go over it so many times. I also wish the bristles were a bit longer as well, as you’re scrubbing it’s also sucking up the water so I don’t feel like I can scrub as hard. Overall I love the shampooer and works great for cleaning up toddler and cat messes. Let’s be real, no parent has time to stop and fully clean up messes, but with this handy tool I now can!

This thing is great! The Stellar Product Testing Panel sent me the product and after opening it, I was seriously able to use it within 15 minutes!!! The set up was a breeze which involved literally clicking three pieces together. The instructions made sense and were clear, and then there I was on my way. I have a smaller, portable one with just a hose attachment but I’ve never used a full on upright carpet cleaner. I actually really love the size so that I can clean larger areas like bedrooms. Once I could figure out where the power button and lever to recline the handle was, this was very easy to use and maneuver. The only thing I don’t like is that it’s hard to wheel around when upright and locked. I ended up carrying it around – which was fine but I would just prefer to wheel it around easily.
I cleaned our average size bedroom, closet, and then I spot cleaned a 3 month old fruit pouch stain 🫣 on a couch cushion left from one of my toddlers (see before and after of that spot clean attached). To do all of that I had to refill 3 times and use the whole bottle of the starter cleaner (which smells absolutely fantastic btw!) I feel like it does go through the clean water/cleaner solution pretty fast and it is kind of annoying having to refill it so often, but at the same time the machine isn’t too heavy so I’ll take the more frequent refills over a beast of a machine. I also included a picture of the dirty water and holy cow did it get a lot of dirt!!! The suction is incredible. I vacuumed right before too and it was still picking up crazy dust bunnies from I don’t even know where!! We’ve only had these carpets about 2 years too and we’re a strictly shoes off inside the house family so I’d say that’s pretty impressive.
Overall my favorite thing about using the machine was the smell of the cleaner! I want to buy more and clean more carpets just so my house can keep smelling like it. Also, once the carpets dried in our bedroom walking around on them is SO nice!

I received this the week of Christmas and was super excited to be able to shampoo my carpets before the holidays! We have three little kids, two dogs and a cat. So my carpets are in a desperate need of a clean for sure! I have a spot cleaner that I use weekly for small accidents with my children, spit up and food mostly. Or accidents with one of the pets. It definitely helps in a pinch, but I feel like it could be cleaner, if that makes sense. I will be testing this on a rug that is less than two months old and has never been cleaned, it is also in a pretty high traffic area. So I unboxed the cleaner and had hubby put it together. We didn’t even have to open the instructions, it was very self-explanatory and snapped together nicely with very little assembly. From the time I opened the box until the time I was using the carpet cleaner wasn’t more than five minutes. I can appreciate something that’s easy to use and easy to put together. We used it on an area rug in one of the main rooms of our house that is got the most activity. As you can see from the video/pictures we pulled an immense amount of dirt out of this carpet and it looked like new afterward. It’s quiet and very lightweight, the switch distributes the water/solution evenly and it took very little to run it. The Bisselldiscount TurboClean Pet Carpet and Upholstery cleaner is easy to use and effective. This carpet cleaner is about the same size as our upright vacuum. It does not take up too much room in our small townhouse. The design is intuitive and the water tanks click into place easily. I really appreciate how the clean water tank has easy to use markings for adding warm water and cleaning solution to make sure to use the right amount. I also love the antibacterial cleaner option as our son plays on this rug every day! There is a separate hose than can attach to the carpet cleaner with 2 attachments to reach smaller areas, like stairs or corners of the room.
The TurboClean carpet cleaner works effectively and quickly. I was able to clean our 68″ x 94″ rug in under 15 minutes after our son went to bed. The clean water reservoir was the perfect size for cleaning this rug. If you were using the cleaner on a larger carpeted area, you would need to refill the tank. For our townhouse set up, I prefer the sleeker design over a larger water reservoir. Using multiple passes on the rug, it was dry by the time our little one got up in the morning! The dirty water reservoir was easy to empty and clean. The TurboClean carpet cleaner removed pet stains from our cats and a set-in coffee stain from when my son knocked my coffee out of my hand a couple weeks ago! I have tried out quite a few carpet cleaners and have yet to find one that I’m fully satisfied with, but this one has been the best yet. I was given this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
This is a very light and easy to use carpet cleaner. It moved easily along the floor in multiple directions as it did its cleaning. And it has an extra long cord and handheld tool hose making it very versatile. In addition to that it’s quite compact and takes up little closet space.
I tested this on our heavily soiled rug in our family room, the couch in that same room and on a carpeted foot path upstairs. On the heavily soiled rug the upright carpet cleaner did a decent job removing the bulk of the dirt. The handheld tool was able to remove some caked in syrup stains on the carpet that needed some more elbow grease to lift up the carpet fibers. I also compared if I just hand scrubbed the carpet, which was only marginally better than using the handheld tool. Overall comparing the upright machine, the handheld tool, and hand scrubbing to how soiled the rug was originally the cleaning power was satisfactory and noticeable for an initial cleaning using the machine. On the carpeted foot path upstairs with moderate dirt, it faired well and you could easily see the portion where it was cleaned. On the couch the handheld tool was easy to use due to its long hose which allowed it to go wherever I needed. Because the handheld has constant suction, I did have some trouble getting enough cleaning agent to stay on the couch while I scrubbed the stains.
Overall, while this was not able to fully tackle the heavily stained rug that I tested this on it did make a noticeable difference where it was used. The compact lightweight design of this machine makes it easy enough for anyone to use. This is so easy to use that you could use it on a regular basis without having to dread the entire process. I would recommend this to friends and family.

I didn’t realize at first that this vacuum doubled as an upholstery cleaner and that fact alone made it much better! I do own a regular vacuum and a regular upholstery cleaner for comparison. I think this vaccum cleaner stands up to a regular vaccum very well and I like that it’s light weight since the addition of water to it gives some extra weight. I will say however that the attachment and hose have a bag they can be put away in but I personally prefer for all of the pieces to a vacuum be able to be “put away” on the vacuum. The upholstery cleaner part of it isn’t as strong as an upholstery cleaner alone because it’s an attachment part to the vacuum but I think as a space saver it’s excellent. It definately does enough to get the job done. At my house in particular its up against a toddlers mess and cat mess. I use it largely to clean my couch. I have a big fluffy fuzzy sofa and it helps to clean it off and leave a fresh smell behind on a couch that otherwise can attract some gross odors ie old milk, cat vomit etc the size is very comparable to any other vacuum and is easy to manuver. I did also notice that if you press the button for the cleaning spray while the vacuum is off it still sprays so I have made a puddle in my house a couple times trying to pick it up. Although one thing I loved about this that my other upholstery cleaner doesn’t have is the self cleaning tool feature. Mine you have to suck up clean water and do a whole ordeal to keep it clean. This one has a mode you switch it to to clean its own self out! I with the upholstery attachment was a little strong but everything else about it was great. I recieved this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it was a delight to test it.

I received the TurboClean Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner to try from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We used the main cleaner to wash a dirty 5×8 carpet and this product is powerful enough to get the job done. The carpet was visibly whiter after cleaning with this device. The large size of the product is appropriate as it is big enough to clean a medium sized rug relatively quickly and it is not too heavy to maneuver (similar to a large vacuum cleaner). However, the tube connecting the handle to the carpet cleaner is a bit flimsy when twisting it, making turning more challenging.
The hand attachment cord is long enough to be useful. However, switching between spraying and suctioning on the cord is a bit tricky. Occasionally liquid would leak out of the spout when not spraying.
Emptying the dirty water tank was not intuitive the first time, but we figured it out the second time.
Unfortunately, we went through the cleaning product pretty quick as we used almost all of it up in one cleaning session.
We also used the cleaner with the hand attachment cord to get grease out of a cloth car seat and it helped quite a bit!
Overall, the cleaner works pretty well but it is a fairly large appliance to store and takes a little bit of practice to use initially.

The assembly of the unit was simple and straight forward, and the box it came in was fairly small for an upright vacuum. I was pleasantly surprised at how lightweight it was while still feeling sturdy. There is a large accessory bag to hold the attachments and the hose, but I wish there was integrated storage on the vacuum so I didn’t have to find another spot to hang the bag.
The maneuverability was comparable to other Bisselldiscount upright vacuums we have tested, but it was much lighter than other upright carpet cleaners. The TurboClean made light work of muddy paw prints on our area carpet, and using the hose attachment we were able to get a stain out of the couch. The size of the actual carpet cleaner is great. It is small enough to fit in a cramped closet, but still tall enough that I and my 6 ft husband can use it comfortably.
The power is great. It sprays a decent amount of soap & solution, and the sucks it up very well- the rug I used it on was damp afterwards, but dry enough that I didn’t have to worry about it a few hours later. The included tools are also easy to attach and use.
It maneuvers very well- my 1 year old loved pushing it around because of how easily it rolls.

I’m also disabled and can’t wrangle a heavy machine. I really liked that this carpet cleaner was the size (and noise level!) or a standard upright vacuum. It was also very easy to use and intuitively set up.
As I put the machine together and prepared to use it for the first time, I did notice that some of the plastic components like the wheels felt a bit flimsy, as though they could break fairly easily. They reminded me a bit of a child’s plastic toy. That’s the main reason I gave this cleaner 4 rather than 5 stars. I would expect the machine to last about 2 to 3 years with light to moderate use based on quality of construction.
But the cleaning power itself was very good! I used this on an area rug that’s in a high traffic area and was professionally steam cleaned about 8 months ago and it pulled a ton of dirt out of the rug! We recently moved into a new (old) house a few months ago and cleaned the carpets with one of those big ones you rent from the store. We are a strict no shoes inside household but do have kids and 4 cats. I really wasn’t expecting the carpets to be that dirty but boy was I wrong.
Unboxing and setup was simple. No tools are needed. You really just have to click the handle on and that’s it. They include a small bottle of cleaner to get you started but if you plan to do your whole house, I’d have more on hand.
Size wise, it’s the same as any upright vacuum. It is a tiny bit heavier because of the water storage onboard but it’s still pretty easy to pull and navigate with. I’m six foot tall and can use it without issue. The way the handle is designed can accommodate shorter folks as well, the machine will just be a little bit farther away from you.
My biggest gripe is that the power button is very low on the machine. You really have to bend over to hit it. Once turned on, it’s no louder than a typical vacuum. The suction seems powerful enough to leave the carpet damp enough to quickly dry with a fan on. Clean up is a breeze. Everything disassembles easy enough and can be rinsed out so the machine doesn’t get funky while waiting for it’s next dirt scrubbing adventure.

Upon initial assessment, the only thing I noticed was there should have been 2 trial cleaner bottles and I only had one in the box. I was missing what I believed was the anti bacterial cleaner. I decided to test clean my son’s bedroom. He spilled a bit of chocolate pudding when he his tonsils removed. I had tried wiping it up immediately but it had been about 6 weeks of set in stain. This was so easy to put together and use! I had it up and running in less than five minutes after removing it from the box. The directions were very easy to follow.
The machine itself worked great! I first used it to clean a rug in our main entryway. I could immediately see the dirt lifting out of the rug and the dirty water tank was filling with dirty water.
I also used the hose attachment to clean our upholstered dining chairs that have never been deep cleaned. They are dark navy so the dirt is hidden well (eww). To say the dirty water was dark after cleaning these would be an understatement. The attachment was very easy to use and cleaned very well.
I have yet to take this upstairs to use on a fully carpeted room, but I am confident that it will get the job done.
My only complaint was all the overspray when using the attachment on the upholstered chairs. No matter how I tried to angle the hose, it still sprayed all over, but that an easy clean up in the grand scheme of things and at least it is spraying clean water solution.
Cleaning these machine after use was easy to do, and is always recommended after using any type of wet mop/cleaning machine to prevent smells from developing.

I was given this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have used a few carpet cleaners before this one – most I find are either too bulky to store or too heavy to use. This one was neither of those things. It is pretty slim- and therefore more lightweight even after filling with water and solution. It is narrower in size which makes it easy to maneuver and store. I like that it more resembles a vacuum and not a giant piece of machinery. I love that it comes with cleaning tools- I used one for my couch and it was great! I’ll start by saying this carpet cleaner, kindly gifted by the Stellar Product Testing Panel (THANK YOU!), couldn’t have arrived at a more opportune time. It was delivered just days before Christmas, the very day my darling children decided it was a great idea to stomp wildly on a gel-filled drawing pad hard enough to make it pop. Whatever mystery goo fortified with non-washable blue pigment they use to fill that thing squirted out all over our light carpet. With no bandwidth to deal with it on Christmas Eve Eve, I sprayed it with some basic cleaner and hoped for the best. Bad move.
After Christmas Day, I finally tried the carpet cleaner. It was really simple to assemble in a minute and was up and running in just a couple more. Had I not been too lazy to assemble it days ago, it would have undoubtedly taken care of the unidentified blue ink-slime instantaneously. However, since the stain was dry, my expectations were low. I used upright mode to first clean the whole speckled area. It was easy to use and cleaned an alarming amount of unseen dirt from the carpet. Yikes — I’ve never had a stronger desire to clean the rest of the carpets before. So powerful and effective! It dulled the blue spots to barely there, but I wanted to see if the brush attachment could finish the job. To my surprise and delight, whatever toxic sludge they use actually came out about 98% of the way. Only I would noice the faint discoloration.
Afterwards, the dirty water tank was super easy to remove, empty, and rinse. The best part was the self-clean mode on the brush head, as I have a nearly 15-year-old Bisselldiscount handheld spot cleaner still in use, and cleaning the brush head interior is always the hardest part. Such an improvement!

I recieved this carpet cleaner as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. As soon as I found out I was recieving a carpet cleaner I was very excited. I have 3 small children and 2 cats, so carpet messes are nothing I’m a stranger to. Putting the carpet cleaner together after taking it out of the box was really simple. I followed the directions to make sure I did nothing wrong, but really it was pretty self explanatory. It’s an upright cleaner, not a spot cleaner, so it is large if you just want to clean a small spot, but it is light and easily maneuverable. So far I have used the cleaner to clean the carpets in the room two of my children share. This carpet has been subject to potty training accidents and vomit from tummy bugs, and while we’ve always cleaned it with rags and spray cleaners and disinfectants, it still had plenty of spots and stains as a result. After vacuuming I ran the cleaner through the room and was pleasantly surprised with how simple it was to use. It was as comfortable to push around as a vacuum. I used two clean water tanks with the cleaning solution to cover the whole room and then ran two more tanks of clean water as a rinse. The amount of dirt the carpet cleaner pulled out pf the carpet was both impressive and disgusting. I ran the machine without water or solution to pull excess water out of the carpet and it did an excellent job. After a couple passes the floor only felt slightly damp, not sodden. I finished with the room at noon, and by bed time it was dry and I could move their beds and things back into the room. I also used the included hose and upholstery tool to clean my husband’s recliner. The tool did it’s job okay, but the vaccuum part leaks a bit of water as it rid into the machine through the hose, and the spray nozzle in the hose leaks on my hand whenever I switch between spray mode and tool cleaning mode so for that reason I took a star off my review. It came in a compact box but it was super easy to assemble, just two screws and ready to go without following complicated manuals. I like that the handle can go in for compact storage even after assembled too. Usage: The cleaner is small and lightweight which makes it easy to maneuver and carry around and is great for quick cleanup of messes, it can even be used to clean up stairs. The small size make it a little slower to use for cleaning up a whole room or bigger areas but it can handle that too if you’re ok refilling multiple times. It only took 2 tanks to clean up the whole carpet in a room, not bad. I loved that it could go all the way to the edge of the wall. It is nice to have a cleaner like this for spot or whole room cleanup.
Filling and cleaning it up:
The tank for the cleaning solution and water is very easy to take in and out and refill, it has markings included so you always know the right mix of water and cleaning solution. The dirty water tank is at the front so you can see what you’re picking up as you go and is easy to take off and put back as well although it has a weird shape inside so taking out the dirty water requires a little bit of shaking and I fear over time some dirt will get trapped inside. You can also remove the filter and part of the suction front for clean up.
Results: It left my room smelling clean as I went and didn’t leave the carpet too wet, it dried up within 12 hrs. The cleaning solution did leave the carpet a little stiff at the beginning but definitely looking and smelling cleaner, totally worth it! Definitely recommend it for quick clean ups or smaller areas. When you first assemble this carpet cleaner you will be amazed at how compact it seems compared to others. However, when you put it to work you will be amazed at how well it cleans! Over Thanksgiving, we went on vacation for a week. The neighborhood kid we hired to feed our cat accidentally closed the door to her litter box. For days, our sweet kitty had no other choice but to find another bathroom: the bedroom floor. Yikes.

I have always been hesitant to use a carpet cleaner because they seemed cumbersome, hard to assemble, and hard to take apart once the cleaning was done. But with this TurboClean Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner, my mind has officially been changed! The design of this product is great – all of the components are easy to assemble, simple to use, and easy to take apart to clean. It is the same size as a regular vacuum so it does take up quite a bit of space, but it’s not cumbersome in its design. I was able to clean a section of my downstairs carpet and a rug and it cleaned very well! I was able to see a lot of dirt, hair, and grime that was picked up. It had good suction power and after a few passes, most of the water was soaked up as well making it quick to dry. This product also came with a hose and hand-held attachment which we used to clean a small rug. But this attachment could also be used to clean upholstery. The attachment worked great and was really easy to use. The cleaner itself ran smoothly, was easy to push and pull back and forth across the carpet, and worked seamlessly.
