While I have only used it once, so far, it does a good job, is easy to use as well as to clean after use. I bought this less than a year ago & I’m going to have to already replace it . I put the water and the cleaner in the top part, it instantly starts leaking and going all over the floor, my husband took it apart and found a crack in it and he fixed but the fix only lasted one room and then broke again so … I probably should’ve gotten the warranty but I figured Bisselldiscount was a good enough brand that I wouldn’t have to worry about it . I only used it maybe a handful of times . The first couple times I used it were great though … just doesn’t last long.

I use this to clean my carpet and for spilled soda etc on couch cushions. Or, I would. My Main and MAJOR issue is that I live in an apartment so I don’t have the highest quality rugs. After a few uses, I noticed a lot stuff gathering in the shield part. I cleaned it ut, feeling, wow, it’s really getting the dirt out. But I soon noticed that it was in fact pulling the fibers from the carpet. That’s not good. I tried using the attachment in my bedroom and noticed a burning smell. It turned out that the unit was on top of a pair of socks and the spinning brushes had decimated the socks, as in the brushes kept going and there was a huge half moon shaped part missing from both socks. So, beware – you don’t want use the attachment unless the unit itself is on a bare floor. I had tried touching the attachment brushes when I first got it, and it nearly took my fingers off. Anyway- too powerful, pretty much wrecked my carpet and can’t even use the attachment. Fail, and I’m out the money and still can’t clean carpets. And it leaks.

I am dissatisfied with this purchase. I bought this to replace my Bisselldiscount revolution shampooer and I can already see the exact problems with this unit. First off, the water tanks are completely cheaply made and flimsy. Kind of like a gallon milk container. I am sure it’s only a matter of time before they break and crack.. just like my other cleaner. I have 6 area rugs and a carpeted staircase. I have never cleaned the rugs other than occasional spot cleaning. 2 of the rugs haven’t been cleaned in over 20 years (vacuumed yes but never wet cleaned). I’m happy and it doesn’t bother me in the slightest that I have to dump out often. Only negative in my view is the weight. I use a Dyson stick vacuum and it’s like waving a wand.

I got this a year ago to clean up any minor pet accidents around the home, and I find it has only come with a neverending series of problems.
For starters, the belts driving the brush break constantly and need to be replaced every other month, the drive shaft those belts attach to rust easily, the vacuum itself is tricky to clean thoroughly, and sometimes the motor loses power and doesn’t pull up as much wash water as it should.
If and only if you’re not experiencing any of those, the vacuum works fine and cleans well.

I received the Bisselldiscount Turboclean Pet xl upright Deep carpet cleaner from BzzAgent and Bisselldiscount to try then share my thoughts. It came with a tool kit with 2 attachments and an attachment bag. It also came with 2 cleaning formulas. I used the antibacterial pet formula since I have 4 dogs. I like the brush attachment. It’s great for spots and precleaning. The machine is easy to use, isn’t as heavy and can lay flat for easy storage (if you remove the tanks). It does a good job of cleaning
Cons.. I prefer 2 brushes. This one has one. It’s very hard to clean. That’s why I gave it a 4 star. The tanks are easy but the machine is hard. In order to clean the brush area you have to remove the bottom cover that has 5 screws. And you can’t get it all which messes with my OCD. If that doesn’t bother you, then it would be a great carpet cleaner to own!

I just tried spot cleaning with it, meaning not the whole room but a central part of a carpet. It is really time consuming process and requires frequent tanks changing.
It collects all pets fur and leaves it behind on the floor, so I had to pick it up manually. It is really annoying.
Overall it leaves mixed feelings but still good for the price.

I’ve had a Bisselldiscount Pro Heat Premier carpet cleaner for well over a decade, and I absolutely loved that machine. Unfortunately, the water tank has developed a crack, so I can no longer use it. I had to replace it, so I stayed loyal to Bisselldiscount and bought the TurboClean Pet XL. What a mistake!
Everything works fine on this machine, except for one major flaw. The dirty water collection tank does NOT hold one gallon of water. Yeah, the container is technically one gallon, but it only holds about 1/4 gallon before it seals off and stops sucking up water. I get maybe three minutes of actual carpet cleaning done before I have to stop and empty the dirty water. At first I thought it was getting clogged, but by the 3rd attempt to dump and clean the tank, I realized that there’s a ‘MAX FILL’ line marked at a ridiculously low level on the tank. *Insert Shocked Pikachu Face* Not only that, but the clean water tank seems to empty ridiculously fast as well. I spent more time dumping the dirty tank and refilling the clean water and solution than I spent actually using the machine for its intended purpose.
It took me over two hours to clean a 20 x 12 room, and I finally got frustrated and gave up. Didn’t even bother to move furniture and finish the job.
The only thing this machine is good for is spot cleaning, and if I wanted just that, I would have bought a Little Green Machine, or something like it. I have lots of pets, including a huge elderly dog who hates baths and likes to roll around in the dirt, so my light grey carpet gets ugly and needs cleaned regularly. This machine ain’t it. I might try Flex-Seal or something to fix the tank on my trusty old ProHeat machine, but regardless…I’m out the 159.00 I paid for the TurboClean XL.

I like the idea of a one-gallon clean water tank however, I found that I had to stop to empty the dirty water tank before the clean water tank was empty. What’s the point for the 1-gallon tank?
I have an area rug that hasn’t been cleaned since I bought it 6 years ago. It didn’t look dirty. I made my first pass straight up the middle. Yep, it was dirty, filthy dirty. Same with the carpet in my bedroom.
I cleaned the rug and carpet with the solution and water and then rinsed it with straight water and still picked up more dirt and the rug and carpet looked even cleaner,
I have yet to use the attachments to clean the interior of my auto, I hope to get the same results.

Avoid this carpet cleaner unless you enjoy having to stop to empty the dirty water all the time. I did my living room and hallway and lost count of the number of times I had to stop and empty it or fill the clean water tank. The instructions tell you to keep going back and forth until the solution being pulled up is clear. You can’t see anything because of the clunky tanks so it’s hard to tell when the water is clear…unless you’re plastic man and can stretch around to see it. Doesn’t clean the carpet very well either. I had a BISSELL ProHeat Pet for years and loved it but it stopped working and was too old to fix. Missed the 30 day return window by around 12 days because I hadn’t had a chance to try it out but that’s on me. It seems to be very cheaply made so guessing I’ll have to replace it within a year anyway. Apparently I’ll have to try a different brand. Very disappointing.

This is now my second bissell product to overheat and become unusable. I have had this steam cleaner for maybe 1 year and after turning it on to use it yesterday, it started smoking. I quickly turned it off and took the bottom apart and realized a belt was broken. No worries, I ordered a new belt and replaced it. Today, I fixed the belt and turned it on. Same thing happened. I am beyond frustrated because this same thing happened to our vacuum less than a year after purchase. These appliances are not cheap so having to replace them every year is beyond annoying.
