I’m so disappointed that this is specified for pets and there is no handheld attachment for doing furniture. It’s ridiculous to have to store and fill and clean another whole separate machine for that! What a pain! For a carpet cleaner it’s works great, doesn’t over-saturate, etc but I wouldn’t buy this again 100% BECAUSE of not being able to clean the furniture with it

It did a great job of cleaning my bedroom carpet, but it was utterly annoying to be constantly emptying the dirty water canister. It is a really big canister but the float pops up less than 1/3 of the canister with dirty water. I wish I could have given it 5 stars.

I was using cleaner n felt carpet was wet but when I went to refill soap container realized that the plug was not all the way in n closing for suction in dirty water container. My fault so I went over agin just sucking water n it did pull up more. I guess I should if paid more attention that I was suppose to dump that dirty water a lot sooner than I did. Next time! Good machine over all. I used it all over since I no longer have a pet.

We use this carpet cleaner monthly or biweekly depending on weather. If it is muddy and rainy or there is salt from the snow, this carpet cleaner is great for getting all sorts of messes out of our carpets. Every time we can literally feel the carpet come back to life. Carpets are like filters for a home in that they absorb all sorts of dander, dust, and other items. This cleaner gets out all of it and then some and the suction drys the carpet so we’ll that our carpet is fully dry within an hour. Our only wish is that I had bought it sooner.

I bought this item less than a year ago and have used it 3 times. The dirty water tank is large but has an extremely small collection area causing you to continually stop and empty it. The solution tank is too small and does not empty out completely. It does not have any alerts that solution is not spraying the carpet. I just did my small dining area and had to refill the solution 3 times and empty the dirty tank 4 times. That is excessive and counterproductive to getting the rug done. Because the dirty water tank is so high, I cannot see the water that is being suctioned up. I have to bend and look from the side to see the front of the shampooer – not the best position to be in for anyone. When I get done using it and remove the tanks, it leaks water all over the floor. Now I have to find another way to clean that up too. I expected better from Bissel.

There was an area of the rug where the dog lay all the time and it smelled like a dog. After cleaning, the rug smells fresh again and the little machine cleaned it well. The rug was wet for a long time though. Maybe I should have gone over it without the trigger depressed more than the 2 times in the directions. Overall, I think it’s a great machine.

The turboclean loses suction within 6 months. The also fails to pump enough water to create a spray from the handheld unit. It just drips out to dump water all over my furniture. I got this to replace my crosswave pet. I have always had Boswell full size units, but got this because I thought it would be a solid unit…I was so wrong.

We recently got a small dog that turned out to be not fully housebroken. We tried to blot up the pee spots when we’d come across them, but after a few weeks the house began smelling strongly of urine. Ran this cleaner from end to end of the house to clean up the residual mess. Still not perfect but helped a lot. Cleaner was very easy to use although we had to refill the clean water reservoir quite often. This should work better going forward when we just need to spot clean instead of doing whole rooms.
