I decided to try the Bisselldiscount TurboClean™ Upright Carpet Cleaner after the holidays to really put it to the test on my 9×12 living room area rug. Initially I was a little skeptical as it is smaller than most carpet cleaners, but I quickly changed my mind once I saw it in action. I followed the instructions and thoroughly vacuumed before starting. The Bisselldiscount TurboClean™ Upright Carpet Cleaner is very easy to use, is lightweight, and is quite powerful. The beater bar got out a lot of dirt as evidenced by the very black water in the dirty water tank. For the 9×12 rug, I had to refill the Clean Water Tank twice and empty twice. The instructions also recommended “dry passes” for a quicker dry time, which I also did. It took about an hour for the rug to completely dry.
Overall I thought it did a great job of cleaning my rug. The only 2 things that I did not like were the location of the on/off button and the scent of the Bisselldiscount Pro carpet cleaning solution. The on/off button is inconveniently located at the bottom of the carpet cleaner underneath the power cord. I feel it would be much better if it were higher up. Also, the carpet cleaning solution does have a smell to it, almost a floral scent, which I was not a fan of. I prefer things that are scent free.
I would definitely recommend the Bisselldiscount TurboClean™ Upright Carpet Cleaner to anyone looking for a new home carpet cleaner.

With absolutely no pretreatment and the sauce dried on the rug, this carpet cleaner literally “turbo-cleaned” the stain out of the rug! I cleaned the whole rug and I went over that spot a few times. The stain at this point is almost completely gone! Amazing!! The cleaning solution that came with my carpet cleaner smelled fresh and wasn’t over powering or chemically smelling. I really like that this carpet cleaner really suctions the water back out of the rug so well. I thought for sure that my rug would be wet for at least a day, but the rug was just damp and dried in a few hours. The carpet cleaner was also very easy to disassemble and clean when I was finished using. I do wish that this carpet cleaner came with extra tools to clean smaller areas (spot clean), or tools to use on the stairs, but overall I am very happy with this carpet cleaner. This is a great addition to my cleaning tools and now I know I have this to tackle any mess!

While somewhat bulky at the base/suction area (so tougher to find a spot to store it if you have limited closet space), the cleaner is portable so you can carry it up (or down) as you clean (carpeted!) staircase with relative ease. It also has convenient attachments to switch as needed when going from floors with corners or under couch cushions, or different textured surfaces. This Bisselldiscount Turbo clean gets the job done. The carpets are left much cleaner and pretty dry. There is good suction to remove the cleaner from the carpet. I was overall impressed with it’s performance.
I did notice a few areas I thought it needed improvements as well as things I thought were better than other carpet cleaners. It’s a mix of great and middle of the road.
I loved being able to take the cover off of the nozzle to clean out. I’m used to seeing carpet fuzz stuck in that area with no easy way to get out. This was a great feature being able to just remove and rinse.
It’s easy to steer and move around. It’s also lightweight enough for me to carry upstairs.
Removing and putting back on the clean water tank is a little difficult. You have to perfectly line up and push into place. It’s just slightly inconvenient. However, the dirty water tank is quite a hassle. There is 2 latches on each side you have to undo before you can lift the tank out. These latches are hard to use and just an extra unnecessary step.
The power button is in a bad spot and it has a cover over it so you have to bend down and look at the switch to figure out which way to press to power on or off. Could be a little higher.
The spray trigger works great. Easy to press and sprays a good amount.
There are no other levels or setting to this machine. Just on and off. Which I actually prefer. I think other machines have too many settings. I prefer just the one option.
Overall, this isn’t the best carpet cleaner out there, but it does a great job and is made well. The carpets are clean and I’m happy. I received this produce as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

My Bisselldiscount Turboclean finally came and right out of the box it was very user-friendly to assemble and get ready to use. My manual showed the contents to have 2 Bisselldiscount Trial-Size Formulas but I only got one, the Max Clean + Protect. The size is inconspicuous and can easily fit in the corner of my kitchen. The wire is long which allows for easier reach but when stashed away it neatly rolls around the cord wraps built into the handle.
The illustrated manual is so clearly written and it was actually very easy to maneuver the product. Set-up was fairly easy. I like that the trigger is right on the handle and the recline pedal allows easier operation. I especially appreciate the covered on-off switch, you could never go wrong with safety!
The cleaning power of this machine is amazing! I first used it on a couple pee stain spots from my dog and I was so delighted to have a fresher smelling carpet! I tried it on a tougher mess, my kitchen area rug. This rug is right in front of my stove and although I spot clean right away when I drop something on it, there are still stains that are somehow embedded on it and we never really know how to properly clean it. The first set of passes I did with the Bisselldiscount Turboclean I could already see the difference. It took a few more passes but it’s really mind-blowing how months-long oil and grime are being expelled from this rug thanks to this powerful cleaner!
The suction power is my most favorite thing it just makes me want to clean even more because the stark difference is visible. Another thing I love is how easy the after-care is. Everything is easy to assemble and disassemble, you can never go wrong.

I was given this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Luckily, as a home-owning, coffee-drinking, mother of two and a 70 pound dog, it was much needed.
The best part about this cleaner is the size. We all have vacuums and other various cleaning machines that take up space. This cleaner is upright, lightweight, and slim in design. I have already found myself cleaning up coffee spills with it because I can take it out of the closet quickly and maneuver it easily; obviously, it is way more efficient than my stain remover spray and rags, too!
Although it is small, it is mighty. I spot tested the cleaner on coffee stains, dirty paw prints, and another unknown mark on our living room carpet. These stains are now gone. Since then, I have used the machine to do our whole living room, making sure to empty the dirty water tank a few times! We have 2 cats who’ve been marking, & 2 young kids who have been kids, so we cleaned high traffic areas & smelly, tough-to-treat cat urine stains. My last carpet cleaner was from 10 years ago & worked well but was heavy, big & tricky to use.
This carpet cleaner was easy to use— clean & dirty water containers clip in to place easily and intuitively. Easy to empty and refill. (Reservoirs are smaller so I stopped a lot to empty or refill but it was easy.)
The cleaner is lightweight & intuitive. When moving slowly to clean carpets, it makes a difference to have it maneuver well; this started & stopped easily, turned well & was easy to recline & stand up. Some people may not like the smaller width (take longer to clean large spaces), but it was helpful to address corners/small spaces where cats marked. All cleaners I’ve used are hard to see the front panel to determine if it is still sucking up dirty water, & this one didn’t magically solve that, so I had to crane to the side to see the front piece, but I think that’s the design of all of these machines.
The smart cleaning features (the front pulls off easily to remove debris & prep the cleaner after use) are game-changing to maintain the machine and my mood (it was nice to have intuitive & quick clean-up).
I missed having accessories, but I used them infrequently. That speaks to the usability of this machine since I see myself wanting to use it regularly since it is nimble, powerful and intuitive to use.
Seems to have powerful suction, which was appreciated. We bought the branded urine-specific formula; smelled good, seemed to work great at first. We’ll need to repeat the carpet cleaning to really get into the deep stains our cats have made but it helped minimize some of the odor before we hosted family, so I was grateful for that!!

This is the type of product you think about renting from some place to do that spring cleaning…but then never do. You think you’re getting by and have a fairly clean carpet, but then decide between kids walking in and out, the occasional drink getting spilled, and other life happenings, it’s time to actually get the carpet clean. And the TurboClean Upright Carpet Cleaner is a great item to have on hand to tackle the dirty part that living life entails.
It was very straightforward to use, easy set up and the directions were clear to get me started on cleaning up my carpet. And yuck! I had such dirty carpet 😂We are an active and outdoorsy family, host plenty of gatherings with friends, and, even with a shoes off policy in our home, we are in and out all the time. As you can see from my photos, our carpet shows use. My three critiques are very minor and are 1) I’d prefer an inner cord storage instead of the standard wrap on the outside, 2) move the power button up the handle shaft instead of having it near the bottom, and 3) a small stair-friendly extension would be perfection.
All in all, this is a beast of a product and stood the test of cleaning up our carpets. I’m definitely keeping this as part of our regular cleaning routine to keep our carpets clean and our home welcoming for us and our guests!

Enter the TurboClean™ Upright Carpet Cleaner. This machine saves on space without sacrificing quality. You can have the vacuum out of the box and ready to clean in five minutes or less. The instructions are easy to follow, and it comes with a small bottle of formula, so you can use it right out of the box.
I love that there are no complicated settings. You press the trigger, push forward, pull back. Release the trigger, pull forward, pull back. Rinse and repeat until you’re done! I fully cleaned our 8×10 rug with plenty of cleaning solution leftover. Because this machine is on the smaller side, it’s easy to maneuver, and more convenient to store.
The TurboClean still has plenty of power. After this year’s Christmas party, we ended up with a mysterious red substance on our rug. Jello shot? Mixer? Dessert? I have no idea. This is a great sized carpet cleaner. Not big and bulky at all. It comes in quite a small box and requires some very easy assemble that took less than 2 mins to do. The design is great super clear where the clean water tank is and the dirty water tank.
It is super easy to use and push around, when empty it’s super light and even when full it doesn’t feel too heavy! It comes with some of the carpet cleaner which is great having some to know exactly what you should buy in order to replace it.
I have only used this so far on a couple of kid spillages and a cat spit up and it has done really well with getting the mess up and looking and smelling clean again. I feel like the power is pretty good on this carpet cleaner. I didn’t feel like I had to go over the messes lots of times to get the result I wanted.

The cleaning power was phenomenal and we cleaned everything from pet stains (pee stains and cat throwup stains) to toddler stains (juice). It even cleaned stains from the previous owner of our house! The thing we liked most was the spinner brushes (they did the best at getting the stains out)
The only reason it’s getting a 4 star review, however, is because of how small the water reservoir is. We could only clean about a 5’x5′ area before we had to refill it.

The Bisselldiscount TurboClean Upright Carpet Cleaner is a great machine for smaller spaces! The lightweight design allows for easy maneuvering but at the same time is sturdy enough that I’m confident this gadget will last for many, many years. I absolutely love that the clean and dirty water containers do not mix and thankfully are both easy to fill and empty. The only downside to this specific model is the cleaning solution tank is on the small side so only a small area can be cleaned in one fill up, I was able to clean a small dormer area upstairs where we keep litter boxes for the cats. So for our needs this carpet cleaner works perfectly! But for a full size room it would take multiple trips of filling up and emptying out. The Bisselldiscount solution has a wonderful smell, not over powering, reminds me of laundry detergent. Another big positive of this machine is the suction is very strong so the passes after washing suck up so much water that the carpet dried very fast which is always great. The carpet looked fluffier and smelled great after using it! If we have a spill or pet/child accident on any of the other carpeted areas this Bisselldiscount would be a go-to for getting it cleaned up, but I don’t think I would use this for a whole room carpet clean just because of the smaller tank capacity. But the slim design makes it perfect for smaller spaces, and also an added bonus with the size is that it’s easy to store. This turbo clean upright carpet cleaner has a lot of power for something so compact. I first used it to clean my mudroom rug since that is where we take our shoes off and it gets pretty gross. The water was so dirty after I cleaned the rug and I feel so much happier knowing that rug is clean! I really like the cleaning solution that it came with because it didn’t get too sudsy and it has a great smell.
My favorite thing about the carpet cleaner is its size. It is small enough to fit in my cleaning cupboard, but big enough to clean large areas of carpets and rugs without me losing my patience at how long it takes. I also don’t have to get on my hands and knees to clean like many other small cleaners require. We have 3 young children and 2 cats and this is going to be so easy and convenient to use for the many messes kids and pets create. This upright carpet cleaner is a great in-home carpet cleaner for regular use. There are just a few pieces and parts to put together and you’re ready to use this cleaner. The pieces and parts click in with an audible click to confirm that you’ve assembled it correctly. The instructions are super helpful to explain when to hold down the trigger to spray the cleaning solution and when to simply make passes until you see no more water getting sucked up through the front window. The suction is significant and water can be easily seen as it flows up through the clear front panel, into the dirty water reservoir. All in, I’m very happy with this machine and look forward to working through all of the carpeted rooms in my home. The cleaning solution smells great and makes the whole house smell clean. The Bisselldiscount turbo clean upright carpet cleaner is a wonderful machine for big messes on carpets. Pet accidents and spills were quickly taken care of, faster than other methods I’ve tried. The machine is about half the size of the big Bisselldiscount carpet cleaner which makes it super lightweight and easy to move around. Putting it together took about 30 seconds. While there are no extra tools or a wand, it doesn’t seem necessary since this really seems to shine with spot accidents as opposed to a full whole room clean. I am loving the TurboClean upright carpet cleaner! I was lucky enough to receive this product to try out as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I’ve been using it for the past few weeks mainly on pet messes. The amount of cleaning power is very impressive for such a small machine. It’s overall easy to maneuver and take from spot to spot and has SO much more power than the smaller more compact machines. The set up for the cleaning fluid and the dirty water tank is for the most part, easy to set up and use. I also tried it out on some set-in stains. We have old carpet that probably needs to be replaced, and I was thrilled with the amount of cleaning power the TurboClean provided even on old carpet with old stains! Just what we’ve been looking for! We don’t have much room in our house to store many cleaning tools, but we have a decent amount of different kinds of carpet, three young boys, and a dog—so we needed a way to clean our carpets easily. This cleaner fits the bill!
We used it on a small room that was pretty dirty from normal wear and tear, and it definitely gave the carpet a facelift. It also worked well to refresh my carpet where my dog frequently lounges!

We rent, and the carpet is awful. This little machine made a difference. The water it sucked up was disgusting and we regularly vacuum with a high powdered vacuum cleaner.
This was easy to assemble, and way lighter in weight than I expected. It’s not much bigger than a vacuum cleaner and it really cleans.
The only downside is for those sensitive to fragrance — the solution’s smell is strong and I needed to open the windows as we began to feel nauseous. I hope they come out with an unscented or natural cleaning solution!
Overall it’s worth it. I can’t believe what just a couple passes pulled up.

I love how light weight it is so it is easy to transport from room to room and carry upstairs if I need too. It was very easy to maneuver and was not hard on my arms or wrist. Thus cleaner definitely cleaned up the messes better than u had expected. I have had issues with my animals peeing on the carpets lately and this got it all out plus some old stains that were there from when we had moved into the house almost 2 years ago. * The TurboClean Upright Carpet Cleaner is easy to use and effective! Our chocolate lab always hangs out in my husband’s carpeted office. The carpet is supposed to be grey but was looking more brown than grey lately. In less than 20 minutes I was able to restore the office carpet back to its former glory! My back appreciates the upright design and I found it was easy to maneuver around the room. I also used this carpet cleaner on the carpet where my toddler had a pee accident. I had tried using spray cleaners on the spot but the smell remained; after using this Bisselldiscount upright carpet cleaner the urine smell is gone! Cleaning out the dirty water tank is pretty easy but cleaning around the roller brush was kind of a pain. After cleaning up after the dog the roller brush area was covered in dog hair and dirt. When I removed the roller brush the surrounding area is grooved, which was tedious to clean. With that being said most messes probably don’t require the roller brush area to be cleaned. A must-have for any carpeted household! The Bisselldiscount Turbo Clean Vacuum has powerful suction and impressive cleaning capabilities. It’s lightweight and easy-to-maneuver with one hand. It effortlessly tackled set-in dirt stains, revealing hidden dirt I wasn’t even aware of.
The compact size makes storage a breeze, and the detachable handle adds convenience. The tank requires frequent emptying and refilling especially for a large area but the process is quick and easy. One observation: after cleaning an area, pressing the spray trigger spread debris onto the carpet. However, this is probably due to my heavily soiled carpet rather than the cleaner itself.
It comes with a trail size clean and protect stain removal formula which had a not too overpowering pleasant scent.

You know you are adulting when you get excited over a carpet cleaner and when Stellar Product Testing Panel sent one my way it was literally out of the box and being used within minutes of receiving it. The TurboClean Upright Carpet Cleaner is hands down so quick and easy to set-up, use and clean with! I was very surprised with how light weight it was. I own a Bissel Pet vacuum and in comparison the TurboClean Upright Carpet Cleaner is smaller and much lighter in weight. When using upright carpet cleaners in the past, they all have been very heavy, bulky, and cumbersome to use. Moreover, I hated cleaning those machines afterwards and it was always a whole day process. With the TurboClean Upright, I was very impressed with how well I was able to maneuver it and not just in a room but also on stairs. The machine was narrow enough to run along the width of the stairs making it a swift easy process. As far as how well it cleaned, it removed all traces of surface dirt and stains. There was only one area that I ended up going over twice but it had some spots that needed extra attention and going over it a second time cleaned it up nicely. Another thing that I really appreciated was the power of the suction – my carpets dried much faster than I anticipated. Also, the clean-up was super slick! This carpet cleaner is easy to disassemble and wash. With having pets, cleaning the carpet cleaner can be tricky due to built up fur and gunk that collects while using it. But, the TurboClean Upright literally has six pieces that come apart easily and without much thought process, making clean-up done in two minutes. My only complaint is that I tended to grab for the wrong handle; I kept trying to use the handle of the water/cleaner reservoir which would just pull out of the machine instead of the larger handle that was on the dirty water reservoir. Overall, the TurboClean Upright Carpet Cleaner is an amazing product. Its ease to use will definitely have me grabbing for it.

We have three kids ages five and under, so my low-pile carpet was in rough shape from markers, potty training accidents, and even a small bit of chewing gum. I’ve never used a carpet cleaner, so I wasn’t sure what they’re capable of in general. Here are my general thoughts:
1. Ease of set-up: 5 stars. I’m 7 months pregnant, and I found it VERY easy to click the four pieces into place, plus push the whole thing around, even with the water tanks filled. I will say the materials felt like pretty cheap plastic though, like I wouldn’t be surprised if it all fell apart within the year.
2. Ease of use: 3 stars. The biggest surprise and frustration was how many times I had to stop cleaning to change out the dirty water tank and refill the clean water tank. Every 20 square feet or so (about three rows of back and forth cleaning), I had to stop everything, trek both tanks to the sink, and reset the whole process. For my carpet that’s about 70 square feet, I had to stop three times. This also meant I used up almost 4 gal of water and most of the 8oz bottle of cleaning solution the cleaner came with. However, I really liked that the whole machine just stopped sucking once the dirty tank reached “max,” since I wasn’t really focused on its level. I’m glad they automated that.
3. Cleaning power: 4 stars. I mostly wanted the pee smell gone, some marker stains removed, and the carpet’s color to become more uniform and brighter once again. It tackled the pee smell VERY well, and I think I could say that overall the carpet *looks* cleaner, and the marker stains were still slightly there, but only visible if you got really close to the fibers. From far away, it all looks much better! I didn’t really expect it to fully tackle the gum, and it didn’t, so I suppose that met my expectations.
Also, the color of the dirty water was DISGUSTING, so I’m assuming that means the cleaner sucked up a ton

I received this carpet cleaner from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, this is a nice home carpet cleaner. For starters, the product was very easy to put together which is always appreciated. The instructions were also very clear on where to fill the water to, how much solution to use alongside it. Having used different carpet cleaners in the past, it was very much appreciated that this cleaner was light weight making it easy to bring up and down stairs and that it did a really nice job of sucking up the water in the carpet effortlessly. This makes it great to use over a larger area. The only downside I can see with this product is I had a few stains I wanted to try it out on, it was not able to successfully eliminate them. However the stains are old and have set in over a couple of years, so while I was hopeful this could do the trick, I can’t say I’m surprised nor can I majorly fault the device for not cleaning up these stains. I do feel like the areas it was used on were thoroughly cleaned, even if the stain wasn’t eliminated. Overall, I do think this is a great machine, and I look forward to continue using it!

Very easy to maneuver throughout cleaning, the machine glides on the wheels. As I used it, I watched the red (supposedly) washable kids paint disappear from the rug! I used a lot of different products to try and remove the stain, but nothing worked. The TurboClean Upright Carpet Cleaner knocked that stain out of the carpet with almost no effort. Overall, I like the TurboClean Upright carpet Cleaner. It has done a great job and cleaning up my elderly dog’s messes. It’s smaller and lighter weight than other products I have used and maneuvers easily on short and shaggy carpet. The tank holds a decent amount of water so I didn’t have to run a lot to refill and dump out dirty water.
I’m not a huge fan of how to empty/clean out the dirty water tank, just seems very time intense for having three little ones that needed my attention.
My carpet cleaner came with a small bottle of carpet cleaner solution. Sometimes I feel like the cleaners have an odd and unpleasant odor but I didn’t notice it with this particular solution. The carpet cleaner didn’t come with any attachments, which is unfortunate for me but if you don’t need them, it’s less to keep up with.
I don’t have any complaints with the cleaning power, it easily cleaned up new and older pet stains. I feel like the carpet was fairly dry after use, which is great for me and my kiddos who hate walking on wet carpets.
For the little bit of carpet I do have in my home, this upright cleaner is sufficient and does the job.
