I’ve used Bisselldiscount vacuum cleaners for many years with complete satisfaction. When my last one died (my fault for forgetting to put a bag in it), I got this Zing vacuum. The thing sticks to the carpet, making vacuuming a monumental chore. It is plastic and very cheaply made. After 2 months of struggling with it, I contacted the seller to do a return but it was too late. I ended up just throwing it in the trash. What a waste of money!

This is such a GREAT little vacuum! It has super strong suction power. It’s easy to use, the wheels work great. I love the bagless system. And again, the suction is FANTASTIC. We recently moved into a house with acreage that our dogs think is awesome. But it means lots of dirt being tracked into the house. The manufacturer of the vinyl plank flooring does not guarantee the surface of the floors if you use a vacuum with a roller brush. There is no carpeting in the house and only a few area rugs. I did my research and based on the other Bisselldiscount products I’ve purchased, the Zing seemed like the perfect fit. And it is! I like the convenience of being able to switch between using the floor cleaning attachment and the above floor tools. I’ve ordered additional filters so I don’t have to wait until the dirty filter(s) are washed and dried. I’m always ready for that pasture dirt and dog hair!

I wanted to love this. I’ve owned many vacuums and my hair clogs the beader bar, so this style seemed like a good fix. I loved it while it worked, good suction and it’s lightweight. I have hardwood, tile and carpet and it worked well on all 3. Until the plastic “tube” that holds the lower portion split open, making the whole unit useless. This happened when doing a standard, normal vacuum (not any heavy pressure). Bisselldiscount doesn’t replace this part so I guess a life expectancy of 5 months for them on this product is acceptable.

The extension wands constantly become separated. There is no way to lock them together. If you vacuum under any object, be prepared to put the wands back together.
I wrote to Bissel, willing to purchase click together wands for this unit and was told that they only had the flimsy ones that came with the machine. I loved the vacuum itself but at 83 years of age it has become a chore!

I used an old version of this product at a summer house and loved the lightweight and versatility of floor/carpet so I bought the newest version believed that Bisselldiscount likely improved it-was I wrong! The floor/carpet attachment does not have a method to move the hair/debris caught on the tiniest piece of felt into the nozzle so you need to scrape it with your hands frequently. The plastic hose separates when you move too quickly and putting the filter back into the cannister is challenging…such a disappointment Bisselldiscount-this is being returned after one use!

There was not a in-store display of this bissel and I took the chance because majority of reviews were good. It said good for hard surface and low pile rugs. I have one extra large extra low pile rug and there is no using this on it, with getting a work out. It’s push only no pull back, the suction is very strong and even going over my hard surfaces no pull back option just push forward and straining to the back. I do like the canister easy empty,the wand keeps sperating constantly, had to put it back together several times to clean under couch cushions. Needs better wand design that stays together and a attachment option that is better designed for area rugs. This is not a whole house vacuum.

I have used this vacuum for well over a year. I do have a small cleaning company so I come up against different things like low carpet or high pile carpet or floors I guess for the price I’d give it a four star but it would be nice if it wasn’t so generic and this is what I mean I have had to replace the long black pipes twice because when I hit the high pile carpet with any pressure they break they need to be made tougher thicker not so generic they shouldn’t break so easy where I have to replace parts constantly. I also had to buy a new floor attachment because there’s not a Thick amount of brush on the bottom, so it wears out quicker. It’s a great vacuum because it’s light, but it needs to be made a little bit heavier duty. just a little bit better built a little more heavy duty and it would be perfect.

Not for vacuuming a whole house of carpet. Powerful suction. Best for hardwood, vinyl flooring. I have a mixed use environment – carpet, vinyl flooring, rugs. People complaining about it not being great on carpets. but it has a feature that many people don’t realize. At the top of the wand there is a slide that you can open to reduce the suction. So if doing carpets and there is too much suction, just slide the slide till you have a suction level that works on your carpets.

The ZING is still out to debate. It s suction is grand ; the ability to carry it around into high spaces is wonderful. However, that hose is not malleable because it is still too stiff. It seems to have good suction. I do not understand the user manual. Its just pictures and arrows, with a word here and there, to me not decipherable. The web site says changing between floor and carpet is as easy as flipping a switch – what switch and how can you tell if its on floor or carpet? And I see a picture of the cannister being emptied into a waste bin, but how do you get the cannister off the vacuum without harming it? The user guide cover says “bissell.com/videos” but there are no videos on the web site for this model. Disappointing!

I have tile floors in all rooms except my bedroom. So I bought this vacuum 2 years ago to use mainly in the bedroom. Suction is fair. The major problem is the the wand connection is a turn to attach, and it frequently comes apart. So I am vacuuming and it comes out. It is very annoying. The dust bin is easy to empty, it is light weight and does an ok job on the tile. Not powerful enough suction for rugs or carpet. Would not recommend for carpet and/or rugs.
